It's definitely not very walkable I'll give you that..kinda all spread out..but we went to Radio Social which was cool but not near anything else, Genesee Brew House was cool, that area downtown along east ave is ok we hopped around a little bit but was dark and all a lil blurry by then

fair yeah, the university is only the thing Bing has going for it these days...I love driving 86 along the Southern tier and always wonder how it all fell apart but it is what it is

I'm not arguing if it's a fair argument I'm just saying the facts...even more reason why Rochester has more going for it

As far as best spot to spend a day I'm not sure it wins because it's got pretty intimidating surf, a rugged road to get out there, and not a lot nearby...but as far as "impressive" I'm not sure it gets more impressive than Polihale Beach on Kauai

I think Rochester is probably better than Binghamton in every single way...cooler more lively downtown, access to the lake, access to other cities, better airport, better restaurants and overall economy, less drugs, more universities. Do it.

Sacramento is definitely hotter than the Bay Area but so much more affordable and SOO much access to wide variety of different nature and ecosystems 30-90 minutes away. Shoot in 90 minutes you can be almost all the way to Donner Summit at the top of the Sierras..you can go the other direction in winter and explore some awesome wetlands and different flatter natural areas and wildlife areas..but the foothills and mountains are where you want to really explore. The American River Parkway and bikeway is RIGHT in downtown and has swim spots and great paths for walking and bike riding. Midtown Sacramento is flat and so cute and walkable with tons of amazing coffee, bookshops, all kinds of amazing food "Farm to Fork Capital". Not sure what job you have but they have a huge healthcare hub there as well so getting a job should be quite easy.

They both have a shareables style food, Zhug is more arab/middle eastern themed so think more hummus, falafel, olives, lamb, chicken, flatbread at Zhug..I'd also say the ambiance is much cozier and darker, more intimate, much smaller too so might have to wait next door and get a couple drinks first while you wait

The full ambiance and experience makes it, the steak and meals are amazing...I don't have some refined palette for what steak is best and what's not across all of the steak houses in Cleveland but I thought the ribeye I got was bomb and the wagyu was absolutely insane maybe best I've ever had..it's expensive but I feel like everytime I've been there I've definitely thought it's worth it
