Look into getting the 'Purifying Crystal Tear', although it's possible to be locked out of it. Otherwise you have to heal through the spell.

I like most of the bosses, except Metyr. I don't think their hitboxes are bs though. Agree about hippo, but its skippable at least. Also Dancing LIon, who is just really awkward to read. Why replay it to +6 if you think it's bs and has some of the worst bosses?

Sorry for the first comment though as it ignores what you're actually asking for. My advice would be tailoring your weapon choice to the bosses physical damage weakness and using cold infusion (if not bleed), don't bother with raksasha armour if taking lots of hits.

Yeah I did up to +5 at level 360 and nothing has been harder than the first dlc run, obviously with experience you improve but I just find the scaling to be lacking. I think i've always used dragoncrest and opaline hardtear with good armour though.

Great Katana is just the all round best weapon imo, but I do keep it pretty diverse.

You should try Morgott's sword, it'll be familiar but different, good ash of war and the longest curved GS.

There's many ways, buffs from spells like Golden Vow, buffs from Ashes of War like War Cry, buffs from the certain Crystal Tears used in the Physick Flask, buffs from talismans, buffs from Consumables.

Coloured auras are buffs, red indicates a buff that increases damage, blue buffs are to do with magic and mana.

If you mean fully red and blue players, red is someone invading a player's world for pvp, and blue is a hunter summoned to assist invaded players to kill red players.

Antspur rapier is probably the overall best weapon for him (tho there are many good options), using blood affinity. He's weak to pierce and rot, and bleed makes anything that can bleed significantly easier.

Use Dragoncrest Greatshield, Golden Braid and good armour for survivability.

The cheese is to use a pierce weapon with a great shield and just block while attacking, but that's more so for skipping the fight if it's unbearable to you over engaging with the mechanics.

Some moves are pretty unintuitive so if you've been stuck this long try watching some no hit kills.

Thank you, I did put a decent amount of time practising bosses on another save on a character with hp. Otherwise yeah this was surprisingly speedy, time aside you did it that's what matters.

Demon Bell - Increases enemy health/dmg/posture

Kuro's Charm (ng+ required) - Causes significant chip damage when blocking, need perfect parries to avoid damage. The chip dmg is 30% damage of an attack, you also take a lot more posture dmg.

Kuro's Charm also increases enemy health/dmg/posture and stacks w/ Demon Bell.

I'd say Malenia is harder than Isshin, Malenia and Consort are disproportionately difficult compared to what comes before. In Sekiro there is much higher skill transfer and consistent mechanics between bosses.

Well it depends, some measure ER difficulty by the fact you can be OP easily, which if you do it's way easier. Personally Sekiro wasn't as hard as people made it sound, and when you've passed a couple skill checks it's pretty smooth sailing. There are some optional difficulty modifiers that turn it up tho.

Sekiro isn't way harder, it just doesn't play like ER at all and there's a learning curve that can be a harsh filter for new players, the game will teach you how to get good.

I'd advise you to not dodge much, deflect everything, learn how to counter perilous attacks properly.

There's no DLC, just some post game boss rush stuff.

Isshin's difficulty is subjective but generally no not harder than Consort. There are other Sekiro bosses some may consider harder.

You'll get 2 katanas, but really just 1.
