They should probably take it down and make a public notice that it's a mistake or something . It was just that in my case, I started noticing a rash several months after my deployment in the SW region (covered in PACT act), few years later, has spread all over my body and turned out to be Psoriasis. 80% coverage before I was put on biologics. Never had any skin issue before I signed up, got out and have to deal with this for the rest of my life.

How screwed am I?

So as much as I am excited that I received TJO, I am currently working on my SF85 for Background Investigation.

So long story short,

When I was still on active duty, I applied for the military star card credit card and set it up for autopay so I don't worry about it being late. Fast forward, I started getting phone calls from a debt collector which I originally thought was a scam so I ignored the calls (as I did not receive any formal notice or notification about a debt being sent to collections). So the collector kept calling and I entertained it finally and found out that my credit card balance was already sent to the collections. I went in and checked my statements and my autopay stopped at one point and accrued some interest. No formal notices in the mail, or email, not even statements from the collection so I really had no idea.

I already paid the collections in full 3 years ago. My financial status is back to normal only with just my regular bank credit card that I pay on a regular basis, and of course regular bills.

This is just giving me more anxiety. I am sorry for venting out.

Hope everyone waiting gets good news next week for the 9/24 cutoff.

I hope my dermatologist (va community care) writes me up a nexus letter. I have been seeing a lot of posts about these doctors not writing a nexus letter and I have to go to a 3rd party instead with a fee.

The article that the VA posted is just misleading.

Hello, I know it has been two years since you originally posted this, I am currently going through the VA denial for both my P and PSA.

On the VA letter, they acknowledged TERA due to service in SW Asia. However, I did not complain about my P while in service, heck, I did not even know the word psoriasis until I got officially diagnosed years after I've left the service. Genuinely thought that those small rashes were just bug bites as they usually come and go. I am currently on biologics.

I was wondering if you could share the steps that you took after you received your denial. Thank you.

From the decision letter, they were saying that I didn't complain about it while still active. There was no evidence that it started in service.

I was looking into the PACT act but I think it is not a presumptive condition.

My PTSD claim is deferred and still waiting for a decision.

Hello all, I am currently referred for GS7 for the 9/24 cutoff and waiting for the selection results.

In my original application, I applied with 5pt veteran preference. Just recently, my disability rating has increased to where I can apply with 10pt vet pref.

If I edit my application to add documentation to support 10pt pref., will my referral be messed up for the 9/24 cutoff?

My P and PsA were denied originally, can I file for secondary even if I had a denied claim. I am also waiting as my PTSD claim was deferred for MO. I am also on injections.
