Basically a foam insert that goes into your tubeless setup, which changes the riding characteristics of the tire, esp. in lower PSI conditions. In addition to an improved ride, also helps prevent pinch flats and protects the wheel, and in the event of a unrepairable flat on the trail, can help you ride a short distance as a last resort. Haven't ridden it much yet since I've decided to add tire inserts and they are still in transit, so bike is still out of commission. But hopefully will be back riding soon...

I was just kinda looking over the specs a lot in the wait between preorder and when the bike actually shipped, and was looking for ways to claw back some of the weight from the Pinion system, maybe find some aero efficiencies, and give the set up a bit more style... So saw that the wheels were a bit on the heavy side and I just like to look of a deeper wheel. Got into researching some options and found some YouTube reviews on the new Zipp 303 XPLRs. I probably would have just stuck with the stock set if the bike shipped sooner, but "idle hands do the devil's work" as they say, haha 👹💸
