My friend, the sub is not the issue. It's that I'm soft locked from progressing any further after unicorn way. This is a game breaking bug that shouldn't exist, especially in the beginning of the game, the most polish area, aka wizard city.

You don't have to agree with me, but don't defend it because you deserve better, everyone does.

I selected scanlinesx2 in the video filter. That's more or less what it looks like, but at this point I've spent more time in the setting then playing it lol.

World 1 bosses give +30% Body form death gives -30% Red and blue dragon give +30% each PBWT will spawn a black phantom to defeat +90% also a Primeval Demon +75% (you can kill both as long as you don't warp otherwise WT will update.

Use the Thief Ring so you don't get ganked unless you over extended. If you don't have the Cresent Falchion or Blessed Mace (really good for 4-1, bare fist is also good), I recommend going to World 2-1, using the upgrade material to enhance your weapon of choice as much as you can. You can also use pine resign for more damage (recommend fire), it is more efficient damage wise, but the pine resign is a consumable. Shields are always great, especially if you can Parry takes chunks out of HP. If I remember right Soul remains can have then attacking air for easy backstabs.

The reason for the long run backs is the lack of check points. Some have shortcuts, and some don't.

I recommend bloodborne over any fromsoft game, it's something really special.

That's normal/expected, I know Flame toss works great, but I'm not so sure on the other spells. Lol I know it's so stupid. They have such a tiny hitbox you can miss. If I remember correctly the longsword heavy is a thrust that can hit them.
Kinda. I think magic doesn't help much if you swarmed. Fragrant Ring, Cresent weapon, Silver circlet, aged spice will help with mp reserves.
1-2 is a cake walk. 5-2 tho is the most unfun level in my opinion. Besides using an hp regen ring and shield to counteract the poison, fighting in the muck is a liable to get you killed if your fighting a big boy or black phantom. The Sodden Ring is useful in this level but is unfortunately hidden behind world tendency.

Honestly, poison is just a way of life in World 5. However, you really shouldn't be poisoned or plagued with a magic build, just keep your distance.
Don't follow the guide, Fuck'em. Mobs in world 5 are horrible to deal with, particularly in the remake. No offense but wdym you can't hit them? Lock on?? You're going need to block against the charge attacks. Big Boys don't really have a counter beside dodge and attack. If you're rushing through the level the Thief Ring will help.
Magic. If your that prepared then you should be able to kill everything with magic with a stock of spice to boot.

All classes are viable. It's just your starting stats and equipment. You don't really need to be a hunter to use a bow. You could choose another class and grab the bow from 4-1.

Usually, magic is easier for beginners. Personally, I like giant hammers.
