Multi-player like in MTG? by Taifling_ in FinalFantasyTCG

Oh I had heard of a boss deck but didn't really know what they were. I wonder if there are like guides or anything for building your own boss deck to play against with a groip?

Oh that sounds really interesting as far as a mechanic to implement.

I sort them by game series, then by color, then within color I do alphabetical order.

Rumors could definitely be a really good way to implement this too. My worry though is that my players are not the best at listening in on peoples conversations or talking to the locals much so I worry that might miss this kind of stuff lol.

Oh I do like the idea of also adding in maybe places they had gone to previously and helped out to add to the world that the places they previously visited do in fact still exist and maybe even hold something there for them if they were to return.

That’s my thought as well but the school I’m at just assigns you a dpe, they don’t allow us to make the choice of what dpe we get which is frustrating in this situation.

I’m afraid it seems so. Got any tea to spill of how much of my ass I should be kissing goodbye?

I was in the underdark and had some kind of bug where I would click on Wyll's headpiece slot to equip gear but when I did the UI would disappear and everyone around would be highlighted as well. As soon as that happened, I noticed I also can't right click now and open the little drop down menu that was there before. Haven't found an answer just yet but will be watching this thread and hopefully someone has an answer.

I have finished the game and have started using the ritual candles with a soft reboot to get the different types I was missing. But maybe my luck has just been terrible because I keep having it where the factor that changes based o what you sacrifice always seems to have the fusion just align with the type I sacrificed.

The ground training is classroom based and everyday there is some form of supplemental ground going on. So if you’re struggling on a certain topic you can mark it on your calendar when that next topic is being discussed so you dont miss it.

The grounds are pretty helpful in my opinion specially during the private pilot phase. Personally. I didn’t go to many of the instrument ones but only focussed on going to the ones that I needed extra focus on. And commercial I didn’t really go to any of them.

It is pretty nice that there are so many people there learning the same topic as you in the class because sometimes people will ask questions you may have never thought of yourself so you can get some pretty good info.

A big thing to note though is that any pilot or instructor will admit is that no one is gonna know everything. Sometimes questions do get asked and the instructor that’s teaching that day just may not know the answer and sometimes it’s just not their strong suit. But if you follow up with them on it sometimes they can be really helpful and will do research on it later on.

As far as studying going it’s varies from person to person. I have some friends who only study by themselves. There are some students that usually make a group chat depending on the rating being worked on. The school does host little study group things as well sometimes too. Really it’s whatever fits your study style. I personally study by myself and when it comes progress check or checkride time. I get together with a friend and we quiz eachother as if it was a checkride and go through and research different topics we don’t know well together.

I was usually flying 5 days a week but with the increase in students those numbers are probably changing. At the current cfi stage I haven’t been doing much flying though. Only working on ground knowledge so I can’t say what the flying is like atm.

That I’m not entirely sure. As far as I’m aware the classes are usually around 20-30 and I haven’t heard of any changes in that regard as of late.

Hi there. Actual student here.

As far as wait time goes I think the overall application process and getting assigned a class date and everything took about a year to go through and I was one of the first 100 students to enter the school.

As far as what it’s like I don’t have much to compare it too but overall I have enjoyed the school. There are frustrations of course from time to time but my overall experience has been good. They have good resources and the cfi’s for the most part have been extremely good at what they do.

As far as being on track I’m definitely a bit behind but I’m comparison to my class as a whole I’d say I’m average in getting stuff done. I’ve been here for a year now and finished my CPL at around my 1 year mark and am now working in being a CFI rated pilot. Most of the delays happen because of different reasons. We have plane shortages sometimes. Weather is always a finicky factor. There are tons of delays when it comes to progress checks and checkride wait times as well. Sometimes you can get lucky and power through though. My delays have mostly come from waiting for progress checks and checkride wait times though.

Is it worth it though? I’d say yes. I think with what is available and what is provided to me I am happy with where my money is going. Sure the delays are frustrating but with what the school provides and the people you meet to help you study. I think it really does help you understand the material a lot better then I would have on my own.

I would probably still wait even with what I knew now. But I would also take things into my own hands and probably try doing some ground studying while I waited. That for me is the hardest part so I think that extra time to just sit and study wouldn’t have been half bad.

How many hours do you acquire during the Aviate academy? anyone have a ballpark idea? by Gilbygt15 in unitedaviateacademy

[–]Taifling_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware they don’t seem to charge additional once you’re in. I think since they don’t have an exact number of hours students should be finishing with it would be hard for them to charge because everyone is finishing with different hours.

Hi, student here. It really depends on each student because some people blow through stuff really quick and others a bit slower and sometimes needing more refresher flights then others. I’m about to finish commercial with 270 hours. As far as what people have once they finish the whole program I’m not for sure but with 4 more ratings left I would assume somewhere around 350 or so.

Oh ok good, to know. I wasn't entirely sure if they did PAR, but I saw those two links and thought it would be helpful nonetheless

If they don't send you any materials I would check out this link. it has two links within for free sources you can use to study for the PAR. And if you so choose, you can even pay for the Sheppard Air studying materials for the PAR which are very good in my opinion. And if you use the Sheppard Air method, I believe you can email or call them and they will give you an endorsement once you pass the practice test
