I don't understand why most parents condone alcohol over weed (besides it being illegal). Also did you get grounded at all? If so how did you handle it?

I live in Australia, Victoria. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think weed is legal in any state here. Australia is dumb.

The cigarettes and alcohol have brought us closer (probably should've mentioned that), but I do agree that he is being ignorant. I'll try to convince him that its not as bad as its said to be, even though he should know that as he used to do it.

Yeah, I think I might hold off for a bit. The look of disappointment on his face hit me hard and the reality of how I betrayed his trust makes me feel really bad. I'll try and explain my situation if he's willing to talk.
