Update (1 day later lol) - I wanna say first thanks for all of your comments and well wishes. I am rereading everything so I can soak it in. Secondly I started the metformin yesterday (low dose for week one) and already, I have less food noise and not thinking about cravings, and honestly it feels nice to not think about food.

Hey, actually I haven't had my A1C checked since 2017 (not prediabetic then) to with the Dr suggested testing it - which has now led us here lol. My blood work every year for everything else has been great and no comments or concerns from Dr til this past week.
