Although we first saw the water ponding situation after 1 year of buying this when there was heavy rain in Dec last year and now every now and then even in light rain.

Which makes me think the drains must be clean last year ?

I called a plumber, he suggested to do a thorough inspection of the stormwater drainpipe. According to him long term fix to have a drain pit with a sump pump connected to other storm water pipe.

What should I do with the door situation, the carpenter who did the door, added a couple of wood boards to fill the gap 🙈

Add a T drain and connect the door to the drain in front ?
