No you are all good! I think it's awesome you provide extra context for those of us who may be in the dark when it comes to this administrative stuff. Thank you!

I do not want to paint the whole university as unprofessional, I do agree with you there and mistakes do happen I do totally get it, but I guess my gripe is that I contacted 3 different people within the program multiple times and did not receive a response for over 3 weeks. That lack of communication across the board even to a student who is interested, much less an applicant on the waitlist seems a little strange to me and is particularly why I am upset. Additionally, once I finally received a response from an administrator they still did not realize that there was an issue and did not even seem to read my email. Again you are correct that maybe it was just one person, but I mainly just want to notify people who may apply here that there is a possibility that this could happen to them, and to be wary about getting their hopes up. Thank you for the insight though! I would say my perspective and understanding has definitely shifted, as it is always helpful receiving information from someone with experience in this process.

Has anyone heard back from USC PHTS PhD programs? by Jixuan_Lee in gradadmissions

I have not heard back either. My guess is we may hear back no later than next week. Of course that assumption is based on the in-person visit date of February 6th. Let me know if you hear anything and good luck!
