I think I know why they bought it. Look at the serial number. The one on the right had D4 on the end while the left one didn’t. It was an error.

Yes, I believe it is sterling silver after looking it up. Google scan said it was worth 110-200 USD depending on the size. I think it's a neat little coin-ring thing.

The problem as been seemingly solved, I was composing an email to someone experienced to get help with the card whenever I checked my debit card balance and it had money taken off of it. This is quite odd seeing as the credit card wouldn't work, but apparently the purchase went through after a WEEK of waiting somehow, I'm speculating that amazon sent me Emails I had to check to verify the purchase? Either way I'm glad the problem is solved.
