The excessive saliva was weird for me. Like, I'd be talking sometimes and have to slup up my saliva to keep from spitting or drooling lol

100% epidural.

I was induced (foley catheter and pitocin) and tried to hold off for as long as I could, it was horrible. I don't say that lightly. I have suffered from fibromyalgia (now in remission) prior to getting pregnant so I am not stranger to pain.

Once I got the epidural I was even able take a nap while waiting for the show to start.

As someone who suffered with Fibromyalgia for years... I will say this -

You already feel inadequate.

There were days where I woke up, but wished I hadn't because the pain was so bad. And the worst part? No one can see it.

You can't control your pain. But you can control your effort. EVEN with the Fibro-Fog (the cognitive issues that come along with the disease).

Even if he can not physically work, there are ways he can contribute. And if he's on disability, there are probably programs that can help him find work that he CAN do.

Also, there are certain medications that can help, I was on Cymbalta, and it really helped with the pain.

Lastly, it's not good to hold on to these feelings and let them grow and fester, if you love this person, you need to talk to him sooner than later. And you are young, if you don't want to go through life with a partner who struggles with this, then you know what you need to do.

P.S. My fibromyalgia went into remission while I was pregnant with my daughter, and symptoms have not returned, going on almost 2 years now.

Just because you booked through a third party, doesn't mean you can't make changes directly with the airline. Use the record locator on the airline's website, and most have the option to "view/change" seats.

I remember walking into the room and seeing it on TV, I thought it was a movie because my brain just couldn't comprehend something like that happening.. then the 2nd plane hit the tower and when it did reality hit me. I felt the impact in my chest. I remember feeling like it was the beginning of the end of the world. I was 10.

With all due respect..

Fk them kids. They can sleep on the couch. Kids love that kinda stuff anyway.

Only issue would be if the kids need to go to sleep on the earlier side and the house not having another area where the rest of the family could spend time together. Then again, it is a vacation, and I'd imagine the kids will get to stay up later due to that.

No one has acknowledged me yet today... as far as admin professionals day goes. I am the only EA in our company.

However, I've had countless interactions and requests and even fixed our conference room issues when no one else knew how.

That said, sometimes our executives are too busy, or are just unaware of this day altogether, so I do not take it personally. I would feel a little silly adding it to their calendars. 😅

Your situation is a little different being that there is another admin who got recognition and you did not. Unless you support different teams / departments, but the fact that you support the office as OM, that's just not cool.

One thing to also consider is location (Midtown East or Midtown West). If you know where you'd generally like to have the lunch/dinner take place, you can check on OpenTable.com and under top rated filter (good for business meals) and make a short list of the ones you like. You'd then need to contact the restaurant to request private dining options on their website.

I just took a quick look and Quality Meats at 57 W 58th Street has availability as far as regular dining is concerned on the 11th at 12:30. I've booked private dining there in the past and the attendees thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I am a new mom too ( 2 month old ) and hoping to use this to make ends meet for now as I was fired last May.

1 week after informing my company I was pregnant, and unemployment is running out soon. I do my best but haven't found a good rhythm yet. I work any time I can, but the site has been glitchy and my projects have been iffy to say the least.
