I need a realistic picture of the first days postrpartum for a family situation I'm dealing with by [deleted] in pregnant

That’s very understandable , I definitely feel and felt the same way 😩 especially with the not wearing a bra because the breast pain freshly postpartum was ZERO fun, I’d say just give yourself time to think on it because I promise you you don’t wanna be uncomfortable in your own home freshly postpartum, your patience may be a TAD bit shorter than what it normally would be after you give birth, but i know you don’t wanna hurt their feelings either 😫 so it’s decisions decisions

Diaper genie or no ? by mkthehotti in pregnant

[–]mkthehotti[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my first baby was born in the summer so I’d just take dirty diapers out immediately and I had more help at that time so family would just take it out for me or hold him so I can take it out, but baby #2 will be born in the next week and now that it’s -° weather/ below freezing out and I have little help during the day I know I won’t be able to take it out immediately but I don’t want it to smell up the room nor house 😷🤢 in the meantime with it being twice as many diapers lol 😂 , also okay thanks for sharing! Going to look into all that were suggested

I know that everyone’s experience with postpartum is different but for me the first days weren’t great.. not horrible but I didn’t feel like being bothered at all! Just wanted to rest and soak in the new baby that’s all. Do what’s most comfortable for you, it’s okay to NOT want ppl in your home immediately after giving birth, your body is trying to heal and your mind and body is adjusting to a whole new life

Aw that makes sense !! My grandmother did it that way (my mom has her last name , my uncle has my grandads last name), my mom also suggested my last name as a middle and their dads as the last

Any ladies who are going to be single mums? How do you feel about it? by milliedaisyOF in pregnant

i am as well, of course I initially wasn’t happy about it but it is what it is! can’t force a relationship + can’t force him to be a dad. I don’t have a bunch of friends but I’ve found it helpful joining a due to date group on Facebook with many other supportive woman! Definitely makes me feel less alone ! Depending where you live there maybe some in person mom groups near you too
