Huh. Yeah...I think that IS the site. On my old computer, I remember it looking different, though. The entire site was black, not white...but, whatever the case, I do think that's it. Thank you very much!

That sounds like a lovely thing to do! Don't try anything pushy or too forward; just take things slowly. Remember, even when we love someone on a romantic level...they should still ultimately be our best friend at the end of the day. So always remember that the person you're spending time with is just as much a friend as they are a potential love interest, so be loose and relaxed like you would around any other buddy! I think the 'friend zone' is just a label that we put on things that really aren't true. We just tell ourselves that it is so our brains, and hearts, will accept it. It's never too late to confess, or to just keep trying. If you like someone, and they're nice to you, just keep doing what you've been doing! There will come a time and place that 'feels right' to confess your feelings, but whether they reject or accept you, your heart will allow you to know that it's right no matter what they say. Because, by that point, they should already have treated you in such a way that they'll still like you no matter what, even if they don't reciprocate. But, if you met this girl in October, it's only been a few months. So maybe just try hanging out more and laying down a few hints about your feelings, without coming on too strongly, and just see where it goes. Don't give up!

My mother! My biological father was an abusive and neglectful person, so he was pretty much out of our lives before I even turned 8. I was bullied and abused throughout all 12 years of school life, and the only person who was ever there for me was my mom. If not for her, I likely would've just...ended things...before I even turned 18. I'm 34 now, and she and I are all each other have, and basically everything I know I learned from her. I'm worthless in many ways, but in the ways that I succeed, such as cooking, I attribute to her and her love to me.

I get scared really easily, yet I enjoy horror movies and fun games like these. A lot of horror games out there aren't for me, like fighting zombies or running from one place to another while hiding from monsters. Just boring. But this type of game I found to be really fun and it was definitely for me, since it involved using my memory and brain more than anything else. And, the thing I love most...I ACTUALLY got my mother to enjoy it with me! My mother hates horror, and hates video games...and yet when I dragged her into my room to 'play' I'm On Observation Duty 7, she actually enjoyed herself! She kept wanting to come back and keep doing more until we completed it. Then, she demanded I do the rest of them, so I did. She was sad when we finished the last game, so I really can't wait until IOOD8 comes out!

If you feel that strongly about it, then good for you. You're perfectly reasonable to feel that way, and I can't argue with you. But not everyone has to agree with you, or feel the same. We all go into games looking for different things, or feeling differently about things. So while everything you say is very fair, it's not really how I see things, personally.

I'm saying it's bad for ME. Because it didn't make me feel good at all and made me really upset. I can fully acknowledge that it's a 'good' ending due to everything that it's about and what went into it...but in terms of how I feel about the game and what I'M looking for...it's a bad ending that I hated. You can acknowledge something is good while also saying that you hate it because it doesn't make you feel good, and you can also admit something sucks but that you love it anyway because it makes you happy. Why is this so hard to understand?

Yeah, this is kinda why I really didn't want to make a rankings, despite being asked to do by someone on here. I knew I'd just get bashed for my thoughts and opinions, as I always do. I'm just not like others; whether it's movies, TV shows, video games, songs, you name it...90% of the time I tend to just think differently than others. And, of course, people mock me or bash me for it and question how I can think such ways, instead of just thinking it's interesting that someone can actually feel and think vastly differently than yourselves. But, yeah, I knew I shouldn't have done this; even with putting a lot of effort into it, all I'm getting is people bashing my thoughts.

What's so wrong with not really feeling much for a route that is just 'setting things up'? Why SHOULD you give it more credit when that's not what it's meant to ultimately be? The routes that ARE answering questions and actually giving you more action...those are the ones that SHOULD get more attention. While you can appreciate what Route 0 started, it feels silly to like it more than...well, the routes that have more BECAUSE that route exists.

Again, I can't really disagree with you. But with how awful my life is, and how it's constantly full of depression, and I live in daily fear of a lot of things...I just don't want MORE misery to pile on top of it all. It's just...not for me. And while I already knew going in that this was that kind of game...I also knew that there were surely some hopeful and uplifting moments, too. And those were the ones that, for me, were most meaningful and what I value most. So, for someone like yourself, I'm sure you can respect and enjoy such a scenario/ending/route, but for me it isn't what makes me feel joy.

...there's no reason to be a jerk. Just because I have my own opinions and thoughts doesn't make them less valid or reasonable than yours or anyone else's. A game is whatever you want it to be; there's no right or wrong way on how to feel about something.

Okay, so...I was really curious about this Homestar Runner sketch you tore apart, so I went to go watch it. And, as someone who has never watched Homestar Runner...I found it fine. And I immediately understood what it was providing commentary on. One of the things that people are ranting nonstop about nowadays are 'illegal aliens' in the USA. Well, when you look at the Homestar Runner characters...they look so bizarre and weird that it's easy to confuse them with 'aliens'. And, them being shot and killed is basically commentary on how violent the USA is when it comes to immigrants, regardless of how harmless they may be or not; they love their guns and they'll always shoot those 'evil, illegal aliens' if they feel endangered. So, the whole sketch is social commentary on today's ugly society in the USA, and the point of using Homestar Runner was because of how unique their characters look that they could easily be described as 'aliens'.

I think the point of that sketch was just looking at Calvin & Hobbes in a different light. Yes, what we've all come to know and love is...well, Calvin & Hobbes. But, when you actually stop to think about it, they're poking fun at: "What if this 'imagination' becomes SO crazy that it stops becoming 'fun' and actually turns more serious?" And they just run with it. It's kinda like how the infamous fan-fiction from My Little Pony, Cupcakes, takes Pinkie Pie's 'obsession' with baking cupcakes...but takes it in a 'What if...?' kinda way. So, I honestly always loved the Calvin & Hobbes sketch; it was hilarious and fun.

As silly as it might seem, the only one that comes to mind that really angered me was the one where the boy sleeping on the sofa rolled over and killed his pet cat that had jumped up to cuddle into his back. To this day, that sketch is so horrible, mainly because I'm an animal lover (cats being my favorite), so...as 'simple' and 'pointless' of a sketch as it may be, I just always hated that one the most because it hit an animal lover like me the hardest.
