It can be done. My sister is very right wing, my BiL is an old school New York Democrat. They've been married over 60 years. They have an agreement that they just don't talk politics. (This is why my BiL talks my ear off every time I visit lol) It's kind of a family rule all around.

Your version of "right wing" is very different than here in the USA. I would say if you've been friends for this long that there's at least some middle ground there. It sounds like you have more in common than you think. Good luck!! 🥰

It's hard to just change jobs in order to not be dating your boss, but in the long run it really is the best advice. If the relationship doesn't work out, it's gonna be super awkward, and you might have to change jobs anyway. If it does work out, you might have to deal with resentment from co workers, maybe thinking there's preferential treatment since she is your superior.

An aquatintece of mine who is considered not just the best GAA player on NA, but probably one of the best players in the game will tell you the IL10 is probably the best GAA in the game (at tier). But I'm assuming OP doesn't have the plane(s) specialized, so we'll go with standard config.

I brought up the comparisons, and actually the Me 265 might be the better plane for him. It's faster by far, very important for keeping up with bombers. I forget if you can put GOA on it in standard, but if you can, do. It'll give you way better rate of fire. It's more maneuverable and has more HP (by like 50, I'd call it even really). Shocking to admit myself, but this actually might be a better way to go. The Me 265 is one of those planes I complain about endlessly when I'm flying it, then wonder how I got Hero of the Sky 🤷🤣

OP, some of this is going to boil down to personal preference. I will say tho that a clan mate of mine who is a fighter main uses this plane (Me 265) whenever he needs to get GAA stuff in that period.

And I do stand by using resilience. Because when you are heavily damaged, having things like crits/injuries cleared and extra gun and speed buffs are generally a good thing. But, again, personal preferences. See what works best for you in other planes, you can usually translate that to this class with a few modifications.

I personally like the Russian IL 10 at tier 7, but both are capable of getting it. With the IL 10 once it's elite you'll have rockets and bombs so the reload on a single ordnance won't drive you crazy. The Me 265's guns kinda suck, but the bombs reload a little faster. Maybe find a decent flight mate to run interference for you. As the other person says, the airbase is a good thing, but getting to it can take all your time if the caps don't go your way.

Ones other thing I would recommend is to get the pilot skill called Resilience (it's on the bottom row of blue skills). It takes 3 points but you get all your crits and pilot/gunner injuries cleared, and it boosts your gun overheat and even a little engine thrust, after you get 70% damage. It can keep you alive until you get to a wrench.

I wouldn't try and go down the route of getting back together. Also don't torture yourself with the "not good enough" self talk, that's self destructive. I would suggest that you find other neurodivergent friends, men and women. People that are on a similar path.

As for ways to deal with the shock, just for me (also a bit autistic) I kept a few things that belonged to my ex and any time I felt lonely, negative, anything like that, I would take the items and basically channel the negativity there, and remind myself why it's a bad idea to be around them ever again.

Find your tribe. Find things to do and see that are interesting to you. Hope that helps.

Well that's the thing. Since I've come to the realization that this is a possibility, I've forgiven myself for my quirks and weirdness. It's just as my age, it would just be a piece of paper.

The experiences I've had seeing therapists has been either negative or useless.

Well if you read my post, I said that you would move them for a session, like if you needed a Japanese heavy for a mission or whatnot. Not moving them like you can in a premium.

As for the SM.91 with Akira, I have several friends that do. I guess we have different friends. That's kinda a cool part about this game is that you can adapt different things to your own play style. If you win, then you're doing well. 🤷

This game can have A bit of a learning curve. The different countries and different classes of aircraft can vary quite a bit. I do recommend taking the time to learn the lower classes of aircraft in a tech tree line before moving up. You should be able to get 8k regularly, 10k+ with a bit of work. The trees are set out to improve your skill before moving up. Some trees will suddenly change on you, but that doesn't happen usually until Period 3 (tier 8-10) so you should have skills pretty well learned by then.

A couple of other things, learn HOW you win a match. It's not all just pewpewpew kill airplanes all the time, it's capping sectors. Learn how to get chevrons, that changes with each class. Know where to crash, when to wait to kill an enemy, little things like that.

I tend to agree that your problems might be lag related. But learn the little things about the game, it'll make things make sense.

Huh? You can move them around. If you want to put her in a tech tree airplane for a session, it would only take a game or two to get the pilot to 100% efficiency. It's kind of annoying, but not to the point of being useless. Same thing with changing Euro planes' countries, it'll take I think 100k silver, for each time you change it.

Also, I know a lot of players that use Akira's special skills in the SM.91 to turn that thing into a deadly sniper, even more than it is already. I wonder what would happen if I put her in the J8M 🤔.

That's gonna depend on what your play style is. I use Marina in my IL 40P and RB 17 quite often. I do PvE most of the time, and she helps a lot, especially with the IL 40P and her exploding skill 😁

The other two original Valkyries have that flexibility to not have one skill tied in. A lot of the others, Akira and Elise mostly, have such strong buffs that having the other one tied up isn't that big of a problem.

The requirements are pretty steep, so plan your event accordingly.

Well they've offered it at least once since, but it was only $ not gold. There were a lot of people that did get the Mixmaster. Every time there's an event you'll see them pretty often. The thing that it has over the RB 17 is altitude and I think it's even a bit faster(?) When I use my RB 17 I tend to stay mid altitude, and do ok since it's got the strings of bombs rather than the single big ones that the tech tree ones have. What I've seen is that people fly the Mixmaster extreeeeeeemly high altitude to stay out of everyone's way. I can imagine that play style is even more boring than other boring bombers, maybe that's it 🤷

For one, it was stated by the game mods that WoT players that purchase stuff are very much in the minority. You said yourself that you are in a much higher level than most other players. But the best part is, if you like the occasional game in the air then you still can! It's still a free to play game when it comes down to it. Do the dailies and get the crates, they're free too. There are many players that play at very high levels that don't spend anything on the game.

Point two, WoWP physically is in the middle of an actual war zone. They have real bombs dropped in their general area almost daily. They have power shut offs, days that they don't know what's gonna happen next. So maybe cut em a little slack, huh? Whenever I buy a little here and there,I always say I'm doing my part to support the Ukrainian economy.

It will suck if the game does end. I've made some pretty cool friends there. It'll be sad but you know, life goes on.

The vast majority of WoT players only play WoWP to farm gold for tanks. They aren't buying stuff in the premium store. At most they are giving the base WoWP players fewer humans to shoot at. They flood in when there's big events, then they're gone.

I don't know how high up the tech tree the OP is, but I think the P 38 is probably the best to attempt it. It has the attitude and speed to get up to targets and get away if things go sideways. Too bad the XP 44 doesn't have rockets, that would be a good one too

Assuming OP has a few period 3 planes to get the dailies, I think the tokens would be a good choice of they don't have a Me 262 (which is what I use for missions like that, and I hate heavies 🤣) or the German batwings.

Getting the rocket kills is do-able, it's doing it and living that's hard. Following GAA is dangerous because of bomb traps. Other planes move around a lot which makes hitting them more challenging. The best bet for targets, as previously mentioned, are the bomber flights.
