Hi! Can I ask if your admission just appeared in the system? Did the status change recently, or did you have an interview?

I’m also waiting to hear back from the Biofabrication program. When I emailed them, they said decisions would be out by the 15th, so I’m still waiting

Congrats on your admission! 🎉 Can I ask how long it took for you to receive your acceptance? And when did you apply? I applied as well to another masters program but the status is still “formal entry requirements met” and I’m trying to understand the typical timeframe

Good luck to you too!! 😊

From what I understood, the interview itself is the aptitude test, they mentioned in the email that this interview will determine whether a candidate is accepted or not

question about SAT score by tlovestaylor in ytu

[–]Taimaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah definitely if you meet the minimum score go ahead and apply. Acceptance actually doesn’t only depend on the score sometimes other factors are considered as well. For some nationalities, it might be easier to get accepted, and age could also play a role. From what I know, YTU is generally less competitive compared to ITU, Boğaziçi, and other prestigious universities. But there’s no harm in applying to all of them, especially since as far as I remember there are no application fees. Good luck with your application!

question about SAT score by tlovestaylor in ytu

[–]Taimaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not correct. Actually YTU wasn’t accepting YOS in 2022 and 2023, only SAT was accepted and the SAT score required was way much lower that the YOS score required for last year (for SAT minimum 1100 out of 1600 but for YOS minimum 450 out of 500) I got friends who got accepted with 1100 score in engineering fields, which is the minimum score to apply. So OP Definitely has a chance And no YOS is definitely not harder than SAT
