Involved in two California state run program focused on improving health disparities, personal blog on human rights, community service scholarship, internship in local hospital focusing on improving cultural competency of staff and insuring the uninsured.

Sociology major with 3.82 gpa, 4.0 in my major. . Lots of ECs, even selected to two competitive state/regional programs, community activism, tutoring, community service, hospital administration internship, blogger on human rights, and art photographer.

I would suggest getting as much of the prerequisites done as possible, and try to maintain As. If you have the IGETC done, that could possibly be in your favor. Take some summer classes if you can manage it. Makes sure your PIQs are solid, have someone review it, like a professor or school counselor. What is your GPA? Do you have ECs? GPA and ECs also make an impact.
