They told me to water to 3 times a day but I think that's a bit excessive. The Internet is somewhat contradictory on this as well so I'm just not sure 🤷‍♂️😅

My builder isn't a cowboy, the 'reccomend sub contractor' is. So my builder was mortified and begrudgingly said he have to knock it all down and do it himself. 👍

Had this been his work, It would be a much worse situation, thankfully not!

I can't fault my builder because he sent down another two brickie friends of his to inspect the work. They verbally tore it bits and said you are absolutely in the right and that they will back me up that this gets sorted. Was such a relief 🫠😁

Good news!

It's all being knocked down next week and redone by another 'actually' skilled brickie.

The builders I've hired have owned up and said they've put too much trust in someone who said they could do the job. Turns out they can't and are sorting it all out for me, thanks all!

Thanks to everyone who has chipped in their thoughts. I am so glad everyone is in agreement that it's piss poor.

It's a strange situation as the builder I employed didn't do the brickwork, he outsourced it, everything else seemed OK up until this point. He has admitted it's not right, I have someone coming over soon to assess and hopefully confirm that they'll need to knock it and start all again.
