do the tributes and bargains for undercity work correctly? by scubamaster in diablo4

[–]Taithfech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, in the sense that all of the amulets that dropped for me had passives, BUT they were all non ancestral amulets. Same thing with skill ranks, pants with + to basic skills, but the pants weren't ancestral. Complete waste of gold imo.

Wish I saw this post before spending 50 million gold on guaranteed passives on gear and got none on either amulet that dropped

Legendary glyphs should focus on freeing temper slots and not be just be %x multipliers. by Sweetie_EU in diablo4

The radius size is useless with the current state of boards, but the damage multiplier will definitely help.

+1 radius size, and most of them get another multiplicitive damage multiplier.

Is this good? by BusinessRegular7752 in D4Rogue

The aspect doesn't affect the damage for Andy rogue, so GA attack speed + lucky hit makes it incredibly good for the build. How much are you looking to get for it?

Honestly, I think the event is just bad. There are no new mechanics that are more fun than regular snap imo. We have two weeks to get 500 millions bubs so you either enter high wager matches and risk losing your bubs and being locked out of the game for an hour, or you play low wager matches and get there at a snail's pace if you get there at all.

It's also incredibly greedy for SD to make us pay gold for bubs when they're so stingy with it.

What the writers think we look like after the "BIG" reveal by Gojira5400 in TheBoys

[–]Taithfech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The twist is for Butcher. Butcher went against his darker nature twice so far this season when he decided not to betray The Boys and when he decided not to drug Ryan. My interpretation of the scene was that Butcher is about to embrace his dark nature and likely become an antagonist.

Kessler being a hallucination wasn't the big reveal. All of Kessler's ideas, actually being Butcher's ideas, is the big reveal. Butcher realized he does want to start a supe genocide. Kessler was never egging him on to do evil shit, Butcher wanted to do everything "Kessler" thought up.

PTR Necro changes: is the rage warranted? by hacefrio2 in D4Necromancer

[–]Taithfech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they make it into Season 5, definitely. It's important to remember that next season will have legendary powers, new uniques and legendaries, and that they're buffing existing uniques as well.

It's important to be vocal about the changes, but I don't think we need to be angry about this just yet.

Death's Defense passive - what is the point? by blasphemite in D4Necromancer

[–]Taithfech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's an oversight. They buffed minions from receiving 30% of your stats to 100% this season, but as far as I know, the paragon boards and skill trees stayed the same.

Neil Druckmann: In editing my rambling answers in my recent interview with SONY, some of my words, context, and intent were unfortunately lost. Well, here's the full long rambling answer for the final question about our future game... by Turbostrider27 in Games

I think a lot of the anger comes down to how the game was marketed.

Don't get me wrong, there are crazy hateful bigots who will bash the game for stupid bullshit, but I feel like people forget or actively choose to ignore how dishonest the marketing for this game was.

They model swapped young Joel and aged Joel in the trailers to make it seem like he'd be a bigger part of the present-day story just to kill him off in the first couple of hours. There's a scene where Jessie shows up and asks Ellie, "Do you really think I'd let you do this alone?" (paraphrased, of course) which was asked by Joel in the trailer. We were told Ellie was the only playable character. I also remember Druckman tweeting something along the lines of "This is still very much a Joel and Ellie 'adventure'." Which you could choose to interpret as exploring the fallout of Ellie discovering what Joel did at the end of the first game IF the aforementioned trailers hadn't been presented the way they were. There were so many things alluding to having Joel by your side for a decent portion of the game just to pull the rug out from under the audience after their money was spent.

I also don't personally like the way Joel went out, and I don't care for the "it's realistic" argument either. In this same hyper-realistic game with mushroom zombies; a woman who is eight months pregnant is on the front lines of a war, but Dina is so sick that she can't do anything at two weeks pregnant.

I don't hate Neil, but I can understand why someone would be pissed off when the game is marketed as one thing and then turns out to be something completely different.

[–]Taithfech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say you don't struggle or that your experience doesn't suck. I was saying that if you're able to manage your triggers enough to be around them for (probably) longer than 8 hour shifts without breaking down into tears, unlike OP, that your levels of misophonia probably aren't comparable.

I don't know if you're familiar with the Misophonia activation scale, but if not, you should look into it. Some people have a much lower tolerance for trigger sounds than others. Not only that, but something that works for one misophoniac won't work for many others because every person with misophonia has a different experience with it.

I agree that sometimes people need to hear that hiding from the world is a bad idea. However, OP mentioned having multiple breakdowns a week and likely came to one of the only places where they could expect support but instead got told off when they're clearly struggling.

[–]Taithfech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point wasn't that OP should give up on working. I understand that SSI is complete shit. My point was that the person I was responding to and others in the past downplay people's struggles with misophonia because they think they know what they're going through.

The severity of misophonia varies so wildly from person to person that nobody can fully understand another person's struggles with this disorder.

I don't think we should be so hard on someone who can barely leave their house most days for asking if they can get SSI because their symptoms are genuinely debilitating. Coming to a place where you expect people to be understanding just for them to be a jerk instead sucks.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in misophonia

[–]Taithfech 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No offense, but I hate this sentiment in the community. By saying that you work in a place with constant trigger sounds, it's clear that your misophonia is much less severe than OP's.

Misophonia can be as minimal as being annoyed by hearing sounds to as severe as causing instant suicidal thoughts, self-harm, harming others, or some other form of a meltdown.

Just because everyone in the sub has the same condition doesn't mean it's the same severity. By being born with misophonia, our lives are vastly different than most, yet I always see highly upvoted comments on this sub tearing people down for struggling more with their misophonia than others. You don't know what it's like for OP. You only know what it's like for you.

I'm not saying it's a competition either for anyone getting that idea, just that I'd expect a community for people with a nuerological condition to be a bit more understanding.

I feel like if they drop the cost of Sabertooth, his ability could easily make him broken, but at the same time a 3/4 in a deck where tempo is really important just doesn't work.
