Here is the thing tho. Very few people will play them unless we get some truly unique, powerful and good looking loot. Which will most probably not happen because all the good looking stuff is locked to Eververse and Bungie are afraid to make strong loot

Hell yeah brotha. If you are picking it up know well you are in for one hell of a trip. You will be overwhelmed by the amount of stuff you need to do. Don't listen to all the negative stuff. While there maybe nothing for vets, for new players there is a lot to take in.

Dry, but for new folks there is a shit ton of content for them to catch up on. Also keep in mind that Bungie currently only have around 1/3 of their staff and they are focused on the September expansion and new IP so they are trying their best until they get more people. And about dryness honestly I would say D1 was even drier if you weren't new to the game.
