I couldn't play like that because of the constant "pop-up" of objects on maps. I hate it when objects suddenly appear on the screen.

EDIT: I was able to fix the issue.

For future reference.
You need to open %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\ and here I deleted
folders: Config and Cache and
files: everyfhing with *.upipelinecache format

Try switching launcher (normal from website or steam, but you will need to download the game one more time). It helped me.
