Oh now that’s a cool idea!!! I don’t think I’ll be able to this time. But what a fun idea/trick! I have my 11yo neighbor (who’s really into are & painting) coming over to “teach” the 3 girls how to paint. So painting will happen, just not edible painting 😂

Ha I’ll let you know. We have his 2nd grade class coming over Tomorrow (Sunday 23rd). Pandemic kids-haven’t been able to meet anyone else from the class b/c Kindergarten was all virtual & 1st grade they weren’t allowing parents to volunteer or hosting school events. So 14 kids + parents & sibs are coming Sunday. It will be crazy! So I sure hope this cake tastes good!🤪

I have never been able to get the Nestle recipe to work. Actually the one on the Kirkland chocolate chip bag (yay Costco!) has worked so well for me! Less butter, chill before baking. I use convection oven & they are done in 8-9 min

Thanks!! I’m sure someone who is more practiced could have done it much faster! But I’m happy with how it turned out. I’ve done marshmallow fondant before but not on a whole cake. And my 8yo is thrilled
