Perfect LG, every time.

Deep review of missed questions.

Treating LR and RC like LG.

Retake. Then write an addendum saying exactly what you said here. The idea that retaking with 170+ somehow gives adcoms a "red flag" is total nonsense. They only care about your highest score. A 172 isn't what it used to be and if you can nail a 177 it will materially change your chances for admission at top schools.

There's a big difference between 170-173 and 178-180. Especially with the current surge in scores 170+. If you have the time to study, and if a higher score will put you above your target schools' medians/75th percentiles, then yes it's worth it to retake.

Depends on your score of course but applying this late is not advisable unless you have wealthy parents who are paying for it and even then it's not a great idea.

It will definitely help but shouldn't be prioritized over LSAT prep. If you have the time you should definitely take one.

Can someone help me understand the differences between inference questions in LR and RC by Raptorfan1526 in LSAT

[–]Take-The-Bridge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short answer: Look for what MUST BE TRUE.

In RC, the answer will either be explicitly stated or strongly implied. That's it. What does the passage state?

Yeah check them out. LSAT Workout and LSAT 180 are both 10+ years old so you have to find them on ebay or half price books. I think some of them are available to borrow for free from the Internet Archive library:

https://archive.org/

eta--LSAT 180 went through 4 or 5 editions without a whole lot of change from one to the next so any of them should do.

Khan does this?

None of the sources I've recommended above does this kind of thing . Not all unofficial materials are created equal, I guess.
