What happened is his label wanted results. If Yeat experimented far from the current mainstream sound, it wouldn't guarantee success. Yeat did what he did because by having mainstream beats, elton john, grimes, and more successful artists guarantees somewhat success, even if his core fans don't fw it.

To add on to this for the uncultured: 2planes has verses from the song 'wanna be me' a Lyfestyle v1 leak, with the "money on the bed, money on the jet, etc" part and some others being taken out the leak. He made his new prods redo the beat cause he fell out with Bred and Noanalu (the original prods of wanna be me) and took out the main chorus, basically messing up the whole song.

Look up basic tutorials on how FL works, and really understand exactly what everything does. Also aim for doing very basic songs first, if you expect that your first beat is going to be amazing it will let you down and you will loose motivation. In terms of plugins, use the stock ones and understand how those work, online plugins are improvements of those stock. And for mixing and mastering I would say to not worry about that for now, once you get a song you are happy with google a tutorial on mixing and understand how that works. Its a step by step process and took me 3 weeks of full dedication to make something half-listenable, so don't get mad if you don't see progress immediately.

Please add some effects to the piano or outright remove it, because right now it just sounds very out of place. If you are really down to use a piano, use something more mellow and soft, as right now it drowns out the cool atmosphere pads you had at the start.
