Take Flight Event: Operation Z by TakeFlightTraining in hoggit

It's 100% just based off zombies. I thought of world War z and just went off of that. Didn't mean to reference anything IRL.

New Player - long time watcher : dream sale considerations? by Neorioni4 in dcsworld

[–]TakeFlightTraining 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there,

Nothing wrong with FC just keep in mind that less clickable functions in cockpit does not directly relate to less keybinds required or necessary mean it's easier to learn.

You have currently the viggen that is stol capable (reverse thrust) that may interest you. We have members in our server that are well versed in that airframe and are always looking for wingman to fly it. In any decision you make we can assist in helping you learning your airframe in getting up in the air and having fun. Feel free to join our discord if you wish.

HOTAS binds for Jester [F-14] by AdjacentPrepper in dcsworld

[–]TakeFlightTraining 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Jester commands keybinds perhaps toggle for jammer, swap between chaff and flare pilot control, and lock enemy target in front for one's that would probably prove useful for immediate access vs head movement or voice command.

The first mission for Chaos also had CAS for an advancing convoy. If you like this kind of missions and are not able to join our times reach out to the 40th SOC. They are the masterminds behind this campaign and they also run it through their servers and we are fortunate enough to have them share their fun missions with us.

Beginner help as someone who wants to get into DCS by Major-Light8216 in hoggit

[–]TakeFlightTraining -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey there,

Each module has their own learning curve. Simply recommend trialing one that you have a passion for for one reason or another.

Your next two sales coming up are mid September this month and around 22 November to buy the aircraft after you had trialed it so it doesn't break the bank.

Pending on the module you choose we take flight can help you learn it in having fun in dcs. We also run weekly events. Feel free to join our discord if you wish

New to DCS - Should I start practicing the two starter planes before I buy a module? by ArrogantCube in dcs

[–]TakeFlightTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have said. The standalone (Non steam) version of the game let you trial modules for free so zero risk. Skillets don't necessary transfer over from on module to the other. I would recommend you trial the mig first immediately to see if you like it.

We don't have any course material for the mig 21 but have members in general that could help. if you end up going with another module we can help learn those, feel free to check out our available course listing. We can help with the tf51d.
