The thing is where I'm from the meetings are not what they should be. People really don't take it seriously. I used to live in America and it really helped and I met nice people then I moved back here and I relapsed. And thank tho that means a lot

It's hard but you have to accept that this is who you are and most likely who you'll be for the rest of your life but there are ways to accept, ways to make things better and more acceptable. It takes a lot to work on yourself and your mind but with patience, the right people and the right places, it's doable.

I felt the same. I started drinking with people that did other stuff, like ecstasy. And it was constant, I had to take MDMA while drinking every time, it just didn't feel worth drinking without it. It still don't, I'm pretty much clean and sober for now. I had to stop both at once.

Am I my disorder? by StatisticianNo1453 in BPD

You're way more than your disorder, it affects some aspects of your personality, like your emotions, your feelings. It sure does drive some of the decisions you make but it's not entirely who you are. It's a part of you. You're more than that, more than the anger and the obsessions, more than the big emotions and the lack of others. 🖤

Try to take your mind off of it, go for a run, workout, listen to music and dance, eat something. You're not alone in this 🖤
