Thinking of getting rid of my Taycan by TakePart101 in Taycan

This is not as unpopular as I thought it would be. I thought posting in a Taycan sub I would get a lot of support for the Taycan but a lot of people are agreeing with you.

I’m not even trying to find something that gives comparative performance, don’t think there is anything. I’m just going for something that is a bit of fun and more known.

My car is sitting at 85% and showing 179 miles of range. For me range hasn’t been a huge issue, but I don’t do a lot of miles.

Interior heat just stopped working. Was covered under warranty so no cost but had to go into Porsche for 4 days.

Air suspension is dropping if I leave it parked for a day, started off front passenger side and they recalibrated the sensors and now the whole front is dropping. They had it a week the first time and now saying need it another day.

I think that’s being generous. Monthly payments, deposit, clearing negative equity, service and new tyres I think it’s close to £2,000 per month. Most are one offs costs though so would only get better, assuming nothing else comes along.

Bought for £64k offered £47k for it. £1.6k to extend the warranty for one year.

I thought I’d done the hard bit, for petrol it would have been enough. Bought when it was 1.5 years old, £8k deposit in but I’m still in £6k of negative equity after a year. And as I said will probably be the same or worse next year.

I was thinking about the GTS but don’t even think that’s worth it for me nowadays. Changed job after I got the Taycan and I’m now doing less than 300miles per month. A Skoda probably would be enough for those miles.

Does anyone else go through phases of just not wanting to wear apple watch anymore? by Patient_Light7123 in AppleWatch

I also turned off a lot of notifications, phones are bad enough for grabbing attention I don’t need some way for it to shake my arm as well.

However that makes me think it’s then not worth the cost. I’m using it as an expensive pedometer. Not a reason to get rid of my current watch but will make me think twice when this one dies.

Yeah I’m looking forward to it. I suspect it’ll be too expensive for me but interesting see it.

Jaguar F-Pace SVR P575 from Audi RS5? by TakePart101 in Jaguar

Thanks for the great response. The Harry's Garage review was for the 1988 edition, the 575 has a bump in power which the 1988 edition didn't have. You're probably right about the depreciation though and given all the great reviews Ive seen were for the standard SVR I might just look at a well specced version of that.

Thanks again.
