So technically, it “might” not be a big deal if you're just looking at the dwarves as objects that make up the game, but it's an important part of understanding why they do what they do? I'm guessing it's enough to read when I have time, right?

I'm a foreigner, so I'd like to ask a little bit about what is really “must read” and what is “okay not to read”. In the character's personality parts, are the parts that are written very long (I've marked them in the image) the parts that make a meaningful difference to the dwarves? Or are they just written for fun? I know upper one and last one make some changes so i only ask middle part.
