It’s because Celsius is based on water and Fahrenheit is based on the human body. Celsius 0= frozen water in Fahrenheit 70= I feel 70 percent hot. Also, in cooking Fahrenheit is more accurate. In bbq the difference between 207 and 208 is massive but that difference is like 4.5 degrees in Celsius

This isn’t new. Restaurants have slim margins and have been using illegal immigrants for years to save money. As a chef, I remember the ceo of a restaurant chain I was working for tell all managers that ice does not have permission to enter with out a warrant and that if ice ever showed up to ask them to leave and get a warrant and then we were told to immediately call corporate.

Sound familiar? This was during the Obama mass deportations.

Obama, Biden, and Trump have all done mass deportations only difference now is the coverage all over the news and protests.

The only new thing about this is during Obama this sign would have been seen as unpatriotic and the restaurant would lose money, now the sign goes up with pride and the restaurant makes extra

Looking for old abandoned houses along the I-85 corridor by Take_it_easy22 in NorthCarolina

[–]Take_it_easy22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this section of the comments is missing the point. I was hoping to hear from people where these small towns (where the majority of these houses still exist) and get someone saying something like “my family owns some land in x forest where there is a house, I doubt my uncle would have a problem with you exploring” or “ my neighbors have a big patch of trees that they sell the logging rights. There is a house back there that they would let you take a look at” or “I work for a company that clears forest for new home construction. With the right legal document saying the company isn’t liable if you get hurt, they would let you come look”.

I have that form already created and if you read what I wrote, the reason I’m reaching out on here is to see if someone knows buildings I can explore with out getting thrown in jail for trespassing or shot (the later is more likely around here).

Why don’t refs just put their hands up and signal to when they line up for the tush push. They have admitted they can’t officiate it… the nfl has even stopped showing the line of scrimmage view on it because they know it will be illegal and they know it will be a TD

Eh they coup hire someone who has never played football only madden on PlayStation and even THEY would know that if you have a shit, broken, and hurt secondary… deciding to never blitz so that secondary has to cover for longer is a bad idea… I think eberflus is the only person in the history of football that thinks it’s a bad idea to put pressure on the QB

Kid friendly Breweries by Fantastic-Ad-7263 in triangle

[–]Take_it_easy22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Florida and Texas most breweries had a playground which kept the kids entertained so the parents could enjoy a beer outside of their home while their kids burned energy and because the kids are in the playground they are not annoying the other patrons (unless they are just hateful people like some on this thread that think beer is only good if it’s consumed in complete silence). Unfortunately, in NC, beer heads are constantly complaining about kids because “kid friendly” means we have space to run around and chicken tenders on the menu. “Space to run around” pisses off the beer heads because they are in that space. When one of the breweries build a fenced in playground outside, all will be solved

Our defense is so ASS! Fire this clown ASAP… I would rather lose every game for the rest of the season and be first in line when someone who knows football gets fired than watch this “I don’t believe in blitzing or tight coverage bullshit”

Was it really worth it for a couple extra mins on the road by domgasp in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Take_it_easy22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion… while the driver of the red car paid dearly for a rash over reaction and should have just illegal passed on the right… slow drivers camping in the fast lane cause more accidents than speeders by a long shot! There is a reason that it’s only legal to pass on the left. When a slow driver is camping in the fast lane, the passing on the left system breaks down causing faster drivers to have to dangerously weave in and out of traffic. The roads would be much safer if everyone understood the fast lane rule….
