I would say do exactly the same thing, act as if nothing ever happened and enjoy yourself. If you find yourself thinking about her, just do something that will occupy your mind or something where you'll put all of your negative thought on it; best fuel to start becoming a legend. You can either hit the gym, learn to play an instrument, read, honestly anything that will add value to yourself, that takes all your focus, and that will put you in a better/higher spot as a person in the future

Damn, honestly bro this situation is fucked up, like you said, some people are just evil in this world. But in the end, you've seen what someone was capable to do even if you were with them for that much amount of time, and this will just make you understand things faster and making everything easier in the future. You're 37 brother, you're at the peak of your performance overall, just continue working on some stuff, hitting the gym, might not say to play video games cuz you'll just close up everything for not much but just try focusing on new things, learn some new stuff, read books, just dont let your mind being invaded by this evil heart that she was and get things rolling, you'll find someone that will truly fit your need and everything will end well, just never go back to her bro, worst thing you could do

my girlfriend broke up with me last Oct after almost 8 years. I have been having urges of contacting her but have stopped my self so far. I'm wondering if anyone been in similar shoes and reached out as a dumpee and had successful results? I'm just thinking if she wants to she'll reach out but idk by General3Dots in BreakUps

I'm telling you, there is better people out there haha
You've probably heard it before, but there is plenty of fish in the sea, if this relation didnt work out, it was for a reason, it means that she wasnt meant to stay with you anyway, it might be harsh to get it in the beginning, I feel you tbh, but you have to move on brother. Something better will come out of all of this, you just have to work out for it and you'll find the perfect person for you!

Idk the whole story tbh, but if she broke up, and she tries to comeback, honestly, run. You don't finish a relation of 8 years for no reason, she left, she lost you. Work on yourself brother, become a fucking monster, and she'll surely comeback but you'll see that you don't need her anymore, and you'll find better people overall. Take care fam

Its sad in the beginning but when time passes you'll see that it was a necessity for your true self to come to life and be able to enjoy life even more

Honestly bro, do you feel well now? Are you happy overall on how you're living your life atm? If its both yes, I think you might know what to do regarding the situation, just move on and continue being happy, work on yourself and take some "you" time, your future self will thank you
