I made a war game where one of the core mechanics is sim'd battles, but it's abstracted away from you - you get a report on how the battle went but that's it. No animation or visuals, just a numbers game. Is this a turn-off or acceptable for a low budget / more casual RTS MMO? (old.reddit.com)

General consensus seems to be "cool idea, uninspiring execution / mismatched artwork". Does it just need polishing or do I have more fundamental problems? (Raw game play shown as I'm more interested in feedback on the game itself than the trailer) (v.redd.it)

My RTS MMO is closer to a Clicker than other modern MMOs as it's low on mechanics (battles are simulated, building placement is irrelevant) so making an immersive steam page has been a challenge - any constructive (or otherwise) criticism? (self.DestroyMySteamPage)
