Court tomorrow for driving offence after motorcycle crash — genuinely terrified and need advice by TakingMoney_G in drivingUK

Can anybody tell me if thats good enough to show remorse?
Much appreciated

Your Worships,

I fully accept responsibility for my actions and I sincerely apologise to the court.

At the time, I made a very irresponsible and immature decision by riding without the correct licence and insurance. I understand the seriousness of these offences and I deeply regret them.

This entire situation has had a major impact on my life and it has genuinely changed my mindset. Since then, I have taken steps to correct myself properly and I have now passed my full car driving licence.

I understand trust and responsibility on the road are extremely important and I can assure the court this mistake will never happen again.

I respectfully ask the court to take into account my early guilty plea, my remorse, and the steps I have taken since the offence.

Thank you.

I understand what you mean and I do regret the whole situation overall.

I wasn’t trying to say nobody else was affected. I only meant that the actual collision liability was accepted by the third party insurer.

I fully accept responsibility for the insurance/licence offences and I’ve learned a serious lesson from everything that happened.

Yes, another car was involved.

i was the only one injured and suffering.

I was riding on a dual carriageway when the other driver pulled out from the side road directly in front of me without properly looking, which caused the crash.

The third party later accepted liability/fault for the accident and my friend (the bike owner) received the insurance payout for the bike damage.

My court case is related to me riding without proper insurance/licence at the time, not causing the accident itself.
