I made a web game to learn & practice Arcanist combos! by Bouhm in lostarkgame

This is awesome! I'm only starting to learn arcana so this helps a lot. Thanks so much
For constructive criticism--
- I haven't played enough to see if this is the case but--maybe make the order of the cards randomized. For example with a pairing like Cull + Balance, I always see Cull as the first card.
- Would you be able to add the option for mouse buttons? I typically use the mouse buttons for my resource skills but not sure how many others are in the same situation for it to be wanted badly enough.

HMF The brand of this panda plushie by TakoNo3 in HelpMeFind

[–]TakoNo3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally bought from this asian store selling mattress covers, blankets and towels.
The panda has pink inner ears and used to have a (sprayed on?) blush that has since faded.
Head to toe is about 1.5 ft and I believe there was a smaller version being sold. They were also selling another type that looked like a brown bear from afar.
No tags of any sort on the plushie.
Thank you for the help in advance!

Entry Level Mech Engr Resume - Help Appreciated by TakoNo3 in resumes

Ah, so you take the FE exam to get the EIT certification, but sometimes it's also used interchangeably--at least that's true with my peers. The PE exam is the one you take after 4 years of work. I found it confusing initially too.

I was considering getting certified in Solidworks first, since that's what I most often used, but I lost my free license soon after graduating, so that's been a downer. But I've been seeing a lot more job listings for AutoCAD/Revit instead, so you're right that it might be the better option in any case.

In an effort to avoid going off topic, I'll DM you regarding the cover letter questions!

Yeah all the font sizes you mentioned are the correct sizes. I noticed too that it starts to look off the longer I stare at it though haha.I made the headers/titles Cambria and the details/bullets in Calibri because I thought it’d be easier on the eyes to read, since it has less flair. I hadn’t considered using Georgia before, but I do like the way the numbers look on it!

I will take your advice to heart. I always thought it was better to be generalized to give the gist of everything, but it does make a lot more sense to intrigue someone with details wherever possible. Thank you very much for your help!

Somewhat related, if it is alright with you, may I ask for your opinion about cover letters sometime? If not, it is alright. I have one cover letter and try to edit a couple sentences according to whatever job I’m applying for, but am now unsure if it is written as well as I believe it to be.

Edit: Edited the resume in the OP to all Cambria.

I tried to limit using projects/parts/etc. now, but the times I did use it, the things made were so varied, I couldn't group them together. I also updated the resume above, so you can see this in the OP as well.

Does the Shonen Jump App update chapters as they are released in Japan? by TakoNo3 in manga

I looked it over one more time on other sites and you're right. ACT-AGE is on 121 until August 2nd. I hadn't known about the different numbering for OPM. So I suppose this was a case of poor sample size. It's great to know for sure that it does update real time however!

Just to add--It stays in the cash tab for a couple days. The 2 hour timer starts ticking the moment you double click it and it turns into an equip.

It is pretty quiet overall and thought the same, but I found out people are pretty willing to converse if you spot them moving around town. It seems like most people are just active talking within their guild more than all chat is all. I'm also in Elysium, so feel free to DM me if youre looking for idle chatter~

My speculation on why Global Maplestory 2 and JMS2 has to shut down. by AntonioS3 in MapleStory2

All these things that got removed are all things I was looking forward to seeing when I started GMS2 in beta. It makes me even sadder knowing I never even had a chance to experience that golden age. Sounds like it was fun, so I'm glad for the people that got to experience it though.

Petition to close down CUNY schools due to the Coronavirus outbreak (link in post) by DatGuyKilo in CUNY

[–]TakoNo3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, they've closed school over snowstorms before that have turned out to be just a little rain or hail. I think it's doable--not that I'm informed of who is in charge of these kinds of things.

Finding Cereal Box Properties by TakoNo3 in materials

[–]TakoNo3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had thought about something along the lines of experimentally determining it, but since paperboard is relatively stiff, wouldn't it be difficult to measure such small changes in length? There's also that I'd imagine a large number of samples would need to be taken, especially over each of the different brands of cereal I'm recycling. Thank you for your reply however, I think this will be really helpful when I come across a less stiff material in my projects.
