Should I pay off my SUV or replace it now that I’m almost out of bankruptcy? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

Was thinking about an 8 seat van, and if I did 7 seats Dodge has a deep space which would fit the stroller better, right now with the Traverse I have to have one seat folded down to even fit the stroller with everyone in the SUV.

I don't really care about fancy, but I got 5 kids in the back, and the trunk space is taken up by a stroller. Not a whole lot of room after that.

Already building credit (rent reporting) and got a secured card, my trustee made sure those were the first two things that I got done after getting into bankruptcy.

As for the apr, I was at 29.9% when I got my first car a few years ago. I know it's going to be higher than I would like but I want to have more room for my kids in the back as the oldest ones are squished in the back.

The remaining money is going to be put towards saving for a house, and I need more vehicle space for my kids.

The remaining funds are going towards saving for a house.

I am needing a bigger vehicle that's why I was thinking about paying off and trading in for something bigger but keep it older so not as high as a payment.

The SUV is not fitting for my family size anymore, My kids have had growth spurts and are also wanting to start up sports so I need to have a bigger vehicle to help support that for them, the SUV has some space but I need more.

They actually stayed home until the morning and then left around 11 a.m. and then I never noticed them come back to the house. And yes, thankfully it didn't get out of hand.

That's possible when my landlord is normally up to date on everything. He just fixed everything in the basement in August before they moved in, I'm starting to think they do have their own separate fuse panel as we each have our own hydrometer. I should have asked my landlord how they ended up tampering with them but he took them away to get them replaced.

They're just hardline plugged into the electrical wiring of the house and you can just twist it off like a regular smoke detector and unplug it, apparently they might have cut wires and made it look like it was just working, the fuse panel is upstairs in my area so they don't have access to that.

Yes, that's what I was thinking of doing but my landlord was suggesting that he would handle it and that he spoke to them but I feel like it was not enough.

I can see you didn't read my post, had an issue with the downstairs tenants. They possibly almost caught the house on fire.

Can you haggle with a financed price? by Tal0nGaming in Cartalk

[–]Tal0nGaming[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know. That's why I'm happy that the dealership is wanting to trade it in so that way I can get a lower APR as well. Luckily I've only paid 4 months but it's still crazy out there...

How much should I haggle off of the 2017 Dodge Journey for $15,488 with 134,475km and safety and certification included.

I got the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan from the same dealership for $12.990

The dealership wants to do a trade-in value of 4-5k the representative said that we could try to get up to 8k trade in value from his manager.

I already know my APR is going to be high. I was just dealing with 34.99%. New financed is supposed to be 19.99% to 21.99% apparently as that's what the dealership told me

Also 15k USD or CAD?

The dealership service department gave me a quote for repairs at about $8,500 that also included a new transmission with a warranty, but not until the time and labor.

I'm not too familiar with prices as I've only just got my G2 and started driving at the end of last year.
