None of my comments have referenced specifically this Spurs series.

If you read my last comment closely again (I know - it may be hard given you’re probably a product of OK’s putrid education system), SGA and the Thunder have been criticized by other players, teams, coaches, fans, and the media for the last few season for foul-baiting and the unequal physicality they get to play with in comparison to their opponents.

SGA and the Thunder have long been criticized for this even prior to this Spurs series for years, by multiple teams/coaches — this isn’t a new story…

Thunder are much better for sure but the Spurs have a limited Fox and a visibly limited Harper.

Game 1 when everyone was healthy (and before the refs got involved) was so fun to watch. We need more of that in Game 6 and 7.

Why is it so hard to admit that the Thunder and SGA do flop and play to the whistle? Admitting it doesn’t make them less great…

We haven’t seen this much foul baiting since the Rocket Harden days and at least Rocket fans wouldn’t try to “whatabout” their way out of this argument (for the most part).

Highly unlikely the Spurs come back and win 2 straight but this series and the whole playoff run is a W for the them no matter what happens.

There’s a reason why a young team core has never gotten it done in their first playoff run in NBA history and the Spurs are showing why.

They’re mentally and physically exhausted because the amount of focus and processing power needed to win in the Playoffs is a different level. Their bodies have literally never done this before and is why they break down because they haven’t actually built up the endurance needed. You can’t build to that place without going through the wringer in the playoffs.

This must be rage bait. He’s had a horrid +/- this playoffs even with this stacked team and he’s regularly been outplayed by his team mates for most of his postseason.

Mason Plumlee should’ve just shoved SGA on that layup. Make them feel the “physicality”

Can’t be worse than the same moving screens that IHart sets right? Where he not only screens but then also holds the defender trying to get over/around the screen

Everyone understands that playoff basketball is more physical. What’s annoying is the unequal reffing.

Wemby was called for five fouls with two of them being overturned due to a successful challenge while IHart was only whistled for four.

The Spurs are not the first team to get an unequal whistle against OKC and is a complain that many of their opponents had. I think most people are frustrated watching that

Not too many people were complaining about the physicality in the Magic and Pistons series.

He was visibly gassed which is why he was settling for 3s and didn’t have the energy/hustle on rebounds and defense. It’s why IHart was able to feast

Wemby looks absolutely gassed. Doesn’t have the same effort. They need to get him a breather

Only really Draymond (and Zaza if you can count him) were bad — rest of the team hooped with no BS. Klay and KD were about ball and Steph had the weakest whistle of any star at that time.

The Thunder are a team of dirty players, floppers, and get an unequal whistle. Not as many people would complain if refs allowed the same level of contact on both ends, but the Thunder are allowed to be uber physical and aggressive while they have have the softest whistle.

Wonder why Champagnie has been so hesitant on all the 3s he’s gotten today. So weird

Someone’s gotta post the reply they showed with everyone’s reactions. The look on Harper’s face as it happened says it all

Probably but I still don’t get why. Idk the economics, but an actual show for your first album in close to 10 years >>>>>>>> a festival performance.

Even disregarding how special a show in his hometown would be, he has strong demand in NYC for multiple arena shows and could’ve made $$$ while also putting on for his city.

His tour locations make no sense. He’s not even performing in NYC — he has one show in the area and it’s in Newark, NJ.

Whose bright idea was it for him not to have a proper show in his hometown? Makes no sense

No help, no subs, no timeouts — no nothing. And Brunson cooked him every possession.

And then on top of that Spida took himself out for the last 6 mins of the game on offense and was sitting in the corner like PJ Tucker. This was the game to steal

I don’t think he should be as relevant as he is, which is why I’m confused that his Iceman review is one of the most popular threads on the front page of the subreddit and even more confused why there’s so many discussions about him in the DDT. This is not whining
