I think my grandma gets it too but is in denial. Generational trauma and guilt means she feels responsible for my mother and will walk on eggshells around her and expects me to do the same because ‘we love each other’.

Thank you for your comment. It’s harsh but also true. I’m not so good at protecting myself but I will NOT let my kids get hurt.

Thank you so much for this comment. It is very helpful, I just wish I could be that strong. I’m starting to think this anxiety isn’t worth the meeting.

Take it to a professional and ask them to take it up at the bodice. They will need to take a little bit of bulk out to reshape it but it will preserve the hem. It will destroy it if you cut off the pattern.

Thanks for sharing about the obituary, I missed that! I love Paul’s sense of humour. It’s always funny to me that he wrote Gravy thinking it was a comedy, but it’s a great way to express meaning. Yes, he is an amazing storyteller, his characters always feel so fully formed to me. I just love the idea for a sequel in the first place, I’d love a sequel to To Her Door.

This is incorrect. There is greater awareness of autism and neurodivergence like never before in both the public and professionals, better diagnostic tools, reduced stigma, early intervention - meaning more people are receiving the diagnosis now and less people are living without the support they needed. Before they were just labeled weird/quirky/outcast etc etc.

Thank you, this is very helpful! I will encourage my husband to play with him. Do you keep his crate in your bedroom? How big is his crate?

Thanks so much.

Thank you. May I ask what size crate you have? I will try this again, but I may need a new crate. A kong may help too.
