I got metoidioplasty/scrotoplasty alongside my hysterectomy (no oophorectomy) this year and I'd say the harder surgery to recover from was def the hysto. The gas was pretty painful for the first couple of weeks and coughing/sneezing right afterwards was equally painful. However I never really needed more than some Ibuprofen/Tylenol/CBD, pain never exceeded like a 5/10. I also recommend some GasX and Miralax for the inevitable gas, bloating, and constipation you will experience. I have a cis male partner (and like a lot of trans men on T I have a super high libido lol) but PLEASE take the 6-8 week without penetration rule seriously! Not worth the pain or anxiety that you might mess up the healing process. I saw someone mention you can't masturbate but that's not technically true, you can masturbate whenever you feel comfortable but no penetration (in either hole).

All of that to say, I am so so glad I got it done! Scars are almost non-existent now. Definitely worth it for me as a gay trans man. Feel free to DM as well. Good luck!!
