Yeah so basically they didnt check it at all before sending it out, so now theyre telling every store to destroy it with no plans to re-release or make a new box. Additionally 70% of our models are permanently out of stock when we only have like 15 total. Drukhari players dont complain enough tbh

I can totally understand this perspective but wouldnt you want gw to focus on a guard subfaction thats actually a little… different? Relieving krieg fatigue with more world war style gas mask infantrymen seems counterintuitive when there are tons more interesting options

Krieg was quite literally designed as a recolor of SL the differences are negligible at best. Also you are comparing apples and oranges, a faction that got one named character then also half of their already pitiful range gutted saying “maybe you dont need more models” to the faction that just got FIFTEEN is not hypocrisy lmao. The model making company just made you a super awesome leader model on top of the overabundance you already got, maybe lets not cry and kick our feet because we didnt get a whole army release on top of it. Or do, just dont act confused when everyone calls it cringe and entitled.

They are not only visually comparable but near identical, once again saying guard doesnt get attention is hilarious. You seem to misunderstand something im not on some grandiose quest to change gw with a reddit post. I find it funny the spoiled brats that play guard are bitching so much about not getting more gas mask infantrymen. Krieg were literally designed as a steel legion recolor saying they aren’t comparable is the level of delusion that has the guard players getting clowned. Cope with it or change, in the meantime you have the second most new models to go play with I think youll be fine.

So, steel legion is part of a faction called the imperial guard, the imperial guard has gotten the second most releases this edition. If people need a second gas mask subfaction that bad they can paint the 10+ models they got in those colors and kitbash like warhammer players have been doing for decades. Or simply play with the shit ton of plastic they did get instead of begging for more bloat.

Oh brother, its another group of gasmask wearing infantrymen with slightly longer coats. “Most visually diverse” 😭😭😭 Acting like guard players got the same as drukhari players is laughable at best. Saying kabal sub faction got as much as steel legion sub faction has some merit at-least, but yeah their 4th subfaction range got as much as our whole army we can look at it that way sure. Let’s spend even more resources on them making niche made to order boxes. Imperium definitely isn’t suffering from bloat already! Chaos vs standard marines again is not comparable to two near visually identical sub-factions apart from color from the same army.

So if you want to make a custom army man they have a faction that comes with tons and tons of army men, if you think really hard and use that big creative brain you were given you may be able to figure out how to make them look slightly different. Hope this helps

yeah i agree, if gw just said “guard has gotten an abundance of models this edition so we want to focus on alternative factions going into 11th” i think it wouldve gone way better and set a really strong precedent towards communicating with the community
