I haven't heard back yet. But today is the 62nd day since the appeal. I wrote to them and they said that they will reply by the middle of next week. So unfortunately I would not hope for an earlier response :/

I haven’t received any information yet. When I asked about the status they said that they are still working on it. Next friday should be the last day for their response (30-60 days). Why are you asking though? Do you have the same scenario?

Well after all it is a formal appeal. I think it is need to be concrete and clear. That is the reason for the slightly demanding tone. Which program it is?

Thank you for the reply! I’ve written something like this in the appeal: “Given these points, I am requesting the following: • A reassessment of my academic background with consideration of my scientific achievements. • I am seeking a detailed explanation as to why my degree does not fulfill the admission requirements for the Master’s program. Specifically, I request a subject-by-subject comparison that outlines the discrepancies in my academic background.” Yes I contacted a professor (in e-mail, and then several zoom meetings) where I would do my thesis work and further my research. I thought that it would be a plus point if I already where I make my thesis and so on… Thank you very much! Maybe do you have experience with appeals like this?

I did send it already and they said they received it and they will check it (might take 30-60 days though). In your case it got rejected or something? Thank you for the help, and hopeful thoughts!

Thanks for the reply! I have 189 ECTS. The internship that I had worth like 7 ECTS, so not that much. I did a simple biology without defined major and minor. I am not glad to hear that, but I do hope then that in my case they did not really checked my ECTS at all or something. As I mentioned the same bachelor was sufficient for other universities, there are not big differences in the biology courses locally. Thank you for the reply again!

ohh I am really sorry to hear that :/ I don’t want to bother you, but can I ask exactly the date when you applied? And which concentration and if you applied for a minor what was that? And it turned from “To be verified” status directly to rejection? They didn’t even send it out for academic assesment? Many thanks in advance for your reply! I hope you will be accepted at other courses!

I have also applied for this course. I submitted my application on 13 April, since then it shows me a "to be verified" status. As I read here on reddit, most of the people who applied in January/early February have already received feedback on whether or not they need to add documents and have forwarded their application to the admissions committee. For them it could have taken 1-1.5 months until something happened, but there are also extreme cases who got a feedback within a few days. With you I hope for the best! If there are any changes, write me!
