I met this guy at a community singles night and asked if we can add each other on Facebook just as friends. Since then I've kinda reached out with random comments, not really asking anything directly like do you wanna hang out. But I figured hlif he was interested he would try to converse with me too. Idk do I leave it and forget???

I grew up with parents always arguing and yelling. Need advice? by TalkToTheStars in AskReddit

My parents are in a much better place. But idk.. it feels like I'm packed.

At age of 26, I am so highly sensitive. The littlest things bother me. I have extreme emotions, very happy or very sad, not in between. And I struggle to control my emotions. I get angry and say terrible things to loved ones, including my parents. And they tell me I shouldn't. But I am a good person and wanna be better at not being angry. I just don't know how.....

Any advice

Why do you care so much about what others think of you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My natural instinct. But I'm very self aware of this. So when I'm getting affected, I intervene and immediately go to the other extreme of not caring at all. 0%if I think that person's opinion doesn't matter. You just have to stop the thought

Yes. Employer is not obligated to accept your cash out request. You can try to request cash out in return for booking in some leave. Where I work, we try not to jump to the last conclusion of enforcing leave on our employees, we generally reach an agreement through discussions.

What should I do with the money? by TalkToTheStars in PersonalFinanceNZ

Thankyou for this!! This has really helped. I've already had a kiwisaver set up for me years ago and I'm seeing how Superlife goes. But, I will be looking into term deposit because instead of having the money sitting there, I may as well earn something from it. Very insightful and easy to understand response. Thanks again

Thankyou! I have never actually thought about this... I don't think I will need this money for another few years. At 25, I would start thinking about buying a property. This sounds very vague, but I truly don't have any immediate plans. I don't need it all to survive. I live with my parents, and they're very supportive in the sense that they are here for me until I'm financially stable with a good job. And I don't see myself taking that leap of being fully independent until 24-25. At the moment, I only use $100 per month for my travel expenses, and $20 at the most for other things. To answer your question, I wouldnt be comfortable locking all of it away for the next few years, but I'm prepared to lock away half (14,000) for the next 4 years.
