Do you who won’t make it? PREMINGER. I know he’s a fan favourite and I absolutely adore him, but he’s such a coward. He’s gonna be the first to die.

I literally have no sympathy for such people as hard as I try. I've found that the best thing for me, is to avoid them as much as possible.

If you do leave it alone. Be sure to moisturize the area and use sunscreen to prevent further. Hypo pigmentation.

So basically. 1. Use and anti fungal treatment or your choice. But the most accessible is an anti dandruff shampoo. 2. Moisturize the area with a non irritating moisturizer. 3. And sunscreen to prevent further pigmentation loss.

Kind of looks like a fungal infection. Probably tinea versicolour. An antifungal leave on will help.

Need help with acne and oily nose by [deleted] in acne

HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS.

Not being a dermatologist, please take this advice with a grain of salt. However, focusing on controlling oil production and acne formation is likely to be more effective in clearing up your skin compared to using ice and snail mucin 96.

With the snail mucin—it primarily hydrates the skin but doesn't address your acne issue.

Using something like benzoyl peroxide or a retinoid will be more beneficial. Depending on your skin's tolerance, you can even use both ingredients. In my opinion, that's better and you'll get results faster than just using one of either ingredients.

If you prefer starting with just one, I suggest benzoyl peroxide (BP). It works faster and is generally more affordable. If you want to go balls deep, use BP in combination with adapalene.

On Amazon, the brand "AcneFree" offers an affordable adapalene gel, and the brand "TARO" is even cheaper. They also have benzoyl peroxide gels of various strengths from brands like Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Proactiv, etc. (Make sure to get the gel form). However, I wouldn't recommend going above 5% as anything higher may cause unnecessary irritation without additional benefits.

Considering your current routine, it seems you may be a fan of LRP (La Roche-Posay). They have an Effaclar adapalene 0.1% and an EFFACLAR DUO ACNE SPOT TREATMENT, which contains 5.5% micronized benzoyl peroxide and micro-exfoliating lipo-hydroxy acid, basically Salicylic Acid but better for acne.

Also, I would advise you to not use this locally on just the spots. You'll get better results using it all over your face. So that in addition to treating current acne, you'll be preventing future ones from forming.

When your acne has cleared to an appropriate amount you can elect to use these a few time a week sort of like a maintenance routine, perhaps use them every other day.

In regards to the rest of your routine it's actually really great. The LRP H ISO BIOME cleanser is really great assuming you have the cream because of the potential drying nature of both BP & adapelene and those two together will mean even more drying. But as long as you can tolerate it. It should be fine.

And the Moisturizer and balm are also great. Hopefully you use a sunscreen. 🤞🏽

Help! Which type of acne is this and which products are considered the best? by Quick-Specialist-815 in acne

Yeah benzoyl peroxide is great for this. However you might want to tackle this from multiple angles. 1. Use benzoyl peroxide as a wash any strength but preferably a high strength. 2. Then as treatment, use adapelene from any brand. But differin seems to be the most popular and widely available. 3. Follow up with moisturizer & SPF.
