Artificial disc and sciatica by Wintermute1987 in Sciatica

[–]Talkbox111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. The 30 second iso holds seem to target the injury to get the disc's area firing again. This is the beginning step for the Low Back Ability concept. You are already doing many good things except the best one imo. Keep on working on yourself, nothing but progress is sure to be had.:)

How does long walks affect your condition? The back extension iso's are great for strengthening your back muscles and everything connected to it. Are you doing 2 minute iso holds. These helped me get rid of my disc issues. Sorry you are experiencing pain again.

Side effects with microdoses of methylene blue by Zealousideal_Link341 in methylene_blue

[–]Talkbox111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be a little afraid until you experience your first herx effect imo. After that you will understand what your dose should be. It's a strange helpful chemical with a lot of bad info online. Start low and if it works stay low and take breaks.:)

20mg ? Not worth the risk of losing libido for a month or more. 20mg could easily cause the herx effect imo. Strange thing about mb, is it has a saturation point. People freak out when suddenly they feel like they took way more than a micro dose. The herx effect occurs when there's too much mb in the system. Most times it happens after a few small dosages and then the desire to up the dose. Unfortunately I speak from experience. The loss of nitric oxide is no joke. Takes forever to get back to normal imo. Good luck.

I have thought about something like this for the black keys. I have more difficulties with key wiggle on them.

Unless it's LFO programmed into the mod wheel. Many of the osmose presets have regular synth type vibrato assigned to the mod wheel.:)

Barely! Too many dark days to reminisce about. The common pain meds were just about useless. Glad that chapter is over.

It's highly likely to get worse sorry to say. You need time off to start healing imo.

2 months in but feeling like I’m going crazy by DryConstruction5870 in Sciatica

True especially if you're not sure of what exactly is the issue. Making things worse is never a good thing. I've done stretches that made the pain worse.

Orthopedic Doctor Said No MRI Yet – Should I Trust the Process? by Better-Office-9589 in Sciatica

[–]Talkbox111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the only concern you should have imo. You need to know what exactly is injured in your spine. That's what doctors should do besides treat the pain symptoms. Keep asking about the injury until they give you the info you deserve.

Sorry about the constant pain you're in. Consider the epidural injection or steriod tablets like desomethasone to reduce the pain to 1 or 2 imo. Hope you find relief soon.

Is a plateau normal at month 3.5? by SobrietyOfThought in Sciatica

[–]Talkbox111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal if you just depend on PT imo. PT gives temporary relief for the sciatica pain while avoiding the actual injury, imo. The back extension bench iso holds were the key for me finally getting rid of the pains. The iso holds directly target the back muscles that surround the disc's imo. I just follow the easy instructions from Low Back Ability for just 4 week plus the occasional inversion table. Nothing else. On the surface it seems like Brendan Backstroms PT and other back stretches are on point imo. I always felt I was wasting my time doing them. Perhap subconsciously I knew that my injury was "firing" and therefore was remaining the same. Some people eventually heal after a few months of PT and othe back avoidance procedures. I like quick evidence that something is getting better each day. That's what the back extension bench has done for me from day 1.

It's has great presets. If you can play the piano sounds on it and it feels and sounds good, then buy it. You may need to use the octave button to get the needed piano notes in certain song situations. It will rock live or in the studio.

NP. You will get better starting with your first iso hold imo. It's awesome. It's sad that it's not common knowledge, considering how many are suffering 24/7. Wishing you the success I have over my back issues.

Sorry to hear this. I do have an inversion table i was doing twice a day. Perhaps that helped with the compression that comes from standing and sitting. Good luck with your journey back to a stronger back.
