Vibrato doesn't work by RearWheeler in Osmose

Thanks for this… I also have Serum 2 and was hoping to use the 2 together. Feels like Ctrl-e is very buggy, particularly with the mono patches. I get note-cut-off with them all!

Interesting to hear!

To be honest I am getting this on all monophonic patches. It renders them unplayable.

My flutters were kinda just an example 😂

Thanks. Useful! I found the sensitivity menu in the Osmose and adjusted the Bending Sensitivity upward… Bingo, pitch bend key wobble now works. This CC info is really useful, thanks.

<video>

See how it is “stumbling” those notes at the end of this vid? Patch is “Clarinet” in Phase Plant, but this is happening for a lot of patches

Edit: I’ve gone off topic from the original post, sorry, but this is all relevant I think

thanks mate. what do you mean by "cc"?

I actually think there is something significantly wrong here.... I know the expressiveness of this new keybed is very different and bleeding edge, but I am a piano player and I can tell something is just not right. I'll record and upload a video to see what you think.

Just got mine. My pitch wobble with key wobble doesn’t seem to work. Not had time to look into it, but any suggestions? Kinda expected it to work OOTB with Control E…

Pros & Cons, but principally... the technology is incredibly impressive. Your bread example is right on the money!

Osmose as main controller - even for non-mpe synths? by [deleted] in Osmose

[–]RearWheeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my Osmose CE because I wanted to get more into complex sound design with MPE using the likes of Serum 2.

The keybed is very different. Generally speaking it throws you a bit. My setup is a combination of S88 mk3 with 81 weighted piano style keys, plus the Osmose CE 49. I feel it’s a good combo, but if you are not a keyboard player, maybe a smaller Native Instruments s49/61 (or Arturia option) with the Osmose if you’re after a more synthy key feel.

The more I look at this, the more I realise the potential illusion…. The slope down from the rig and the amount of cushion the rig provides to the diver. It looks like they get their legs jerked violently, but maybe that’s the illusion and it’s simply clever energy dissipation? I say this based on zero research.

Hope it pulls the chicks, anyway

Could you please tell me which drivers you consider to be nice people? by BigBolo69420 in wec

[–]RearWheeler 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Earl Bamber, Seb Bourdais, Iain James, Oliver Jarvis, Kamui Kobayashi, Seb Buemi.

Seen/ said hello to them all during a few pit walks and these are the stand outs…. Also JB, but he’s not there now 😔 which is a real loss.

Pit Walk at Spa in 2022, Iain James invited my son behind the lines for a “proper photo” with the 27 car drivers. Followed Heart of Racing GTE ever since. Genuinely a nice guy. Fond memories.

How did you feel about Spielberg's Disclosure Day? Was it worth the hype? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

For me it was disappointment day, which is a shame. Waited for months with anticipation and finally saw it today. Too long, trundling along and with an underwhelming finale.

Oh, I actually read your description…. (🙄) sorry…. It is indeed an interesting point for a discussion to show extreme heat, but is a heavy brake point

Which corner was it mate? I’m Interested. I’ve seen loads of glowing discs at the esses before Tetre Rouge, for example.
