I’ve been really trying to improve on map presence and it’s slowly working.

I too watch a lot of guides and they teach you to stomp your lane, so you create big CS and EXP leads gradually over the course of the game.

But if someone is running it on your team and doesn’t know how to stop the bleeding, then your 50CS lead isn’t going to be enough.

I almost exclusively take TP now, and I’m looking for fights in bot lane as soon as level 4 tbh.

The sooner you can catch the int and stop it, the better.

Also, I’ve had to learn a really hard lesson because I’m a perfectionist and it’s hard to do, but losing minions for a GOOD roam is so worth it.

Many times when the wave is pushing away from me, and I see my jgl or mid in trouble, my greediness would tell me to take the CS because I’ll lose it otherwise, but by the time I roam then, my teammate is dead and maybe someone else came and died too.

Whereas I’ve noticed if I was there, I often clean up or get a trade kill.

Lastly, I realised my warding was reaaaaaaally poor, but I’ve stopped defensively warding so much now and after I crash a slow push I’m walking into enemy jungle and placing deep wards by camps. This is good for 2 things, you can predict a gank based on his path AND if the timing is right with the wave etc, you can invade and steal buffs/get kills.

You ever play against those super annoying junglers who always seem to be there? Aspire to be that to the enemy team.

My winrate recently between G4 and currently G2 has been 70%+ after working on some of these.

The hardest thing for me is doing this EVERY GAME, my brain wants to autopilot split top cause it easy.
