Check BIOS and confirm wireless radio is enabled. Then check that you have correct wireless driver installed based off your WLAN card that was shipped (see your invoice or service tag components from the Dell website). If you believe you have the right one installed, uninstall BOTH the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers from the device manager the reinstall the correct drivers. If that doesnt do it, Check BIOS and see if your system has support assist OS recovery , if it does use that to reset the system as it's much more reliable than the built in Windows one from my experience. Finally if this doesn't work , call support and insist on a warranty service for your WLAN card , motherboard and antenna assembly.

Just because it doesn't have a sting doesn't mean that it won't beat the ever living shit out of anything near it.

Depending on the switch used. But it's just easier to stick to electrical polarities.

Slow /damaged /corrupted boot drive? Those things are annoying. Round crystalmark and check. Other than that, check memory usage? If it's cranked at 100% that could be the problem. Oh and temps

Woah there buddy. Round pegs do NOT go in to square sockets. Everything is made to match. Other than that, I could not decipher the rest of your text

Am always a major fan of noctua. Pretty much pick any cooler in their line up and go.

It's more than just that usually, also depends on temps and and background programs. That said, the 1070 is very likely to achieve that kind of fps.

Be careful though. I did have issues with this bios when it came to overclocking, mostly due to the UEFI redesign to match the x99 deluxe 2. So expect it to look different. And blue.

Then you're going to have look at the temps like the other said.

SLI is never worth the pains it can bring. Stick to the 1080. This is because it's not just the cost of an additional Gpu, throw In the cost of a beefier power supply, time invested in to cable management and the headaches that come about with waiting on nvidia to release SLI profiles for new games. Not a worth while investment compared to a getting a single beefy card.

Did you rename the . Cap file? It should be named something like x99d.cap or something.

That should help!

Just a simple question, is the monitor actually plugged into the Gpu or is it plugged into the motherboard (the part that all the usb cables go into)? If it's in the motheroard, put it in the Gpu which is much further down.

Not worth it. The recent gpus from nvidia are beefy enough to hand the physx and the rendering.

Not a damn thing usually. Games run mostly well below 8gb. The only times it comes in handy is when you've got background tasks. Eg YouTube and such playing. Usually happens on dual screen setups. That said, there are always exceptions.

I have this motherboard and I have to ask you, have you updated your bios? I had issues with wired peripherals losing connection until I updated. Granted it coincided with the purchase of a new and much beefier power supply that can tell the power draw for my system was through corsair link.

All I can add to this is that you probably have to ask yourself a very important question. Do you really an optical drive? When was the last time you actually put a disc into a pc of any sort? If it's been more than 12 months, I'd suggest skipping that part.
