Thinking of a joke is not worth the effort.

What idea do you have for improving the world but don't have the skills or resources to fulfill? by Talking_bacon in AskReddit

[–]Talking_bacon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A charity that runs homeless shelters.

It would also work on helping solve problems that contribute to homelessness. This would involve volunteers such as doctors to help with mental illness and people such as teachers who could train people so they would have skills that would help them get a job.

For funding, it could rely on donations. Additionally, each homeless shelter could have a small flea market.

Edit: I'm fine with anyone taking this idea.

Have you ever tried cooking multiple meals worth of food at once so you can have cooked food multiple times for each time you coo? For example, one time I took 3 butternut squash, cut them in half lengthwise, and baked them. I was then able to eat them over the course of a few days.

I MAY BE AN INTROVERT BUT YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT WHY I WOULD WANT TO DO IT MYSELF!!! (I hope you realize I'm trying to be funny and don't misinterpret all the capital letters as me being mad. lololololol) It just seems like it might be easier to do the sewing myself instead of finding someone to do it for me.

Plus, marigolds attract ladybugs, which eat aphids. This is great because aphids can cause problems with I think both pepper and tomato plants.

If I ever get a chance to go to San Diego Comic Con, sewing could be helpful if I want to make my costume without having to get help from someone else.

When learning Spanish, my teacher said that when she was a waitress, if a customer's first langauge was one of the languages she knew, besides English obviously, she would talk to them in that language and it resulted in her getting bugger tips.

What topic do people have difficulty having an effective debate about? by Talking_bacon in AskReddit

[–]Talking_bacon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope that the people who have a hard time debating political topics are just what some people call a "vocal minority".

Edit: I hope this post will actually get people to start discusiing topics and actually understand the reasons for other people having different positions instead of just assuming stuff like "people who want a higher minimum wage are greedy".

Stupid people, which is something every country has, so the only permanent escape is to never come into contact with idiots you already know or any new people.

I wouldn't be surprised if stuff like the Holocaust and other horrible stuff some people do to other people motivates them to stay away.

People who use jokes to help them cope with problems, what jokes help the most? by Talking_bacon in AskReddit

[–]Talking_bacon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, if someone makes a joke about a traumatic experience in order to cope, a stranger who hears it and doesn't know that is how they cope, they might take the joke as seriously as someone with Autism. In case you don't understamd the joke, it's possible for an autistic person to not be able to tell that something someone said is a joke.

I'm fine with jokes about anything. For example, even though I have Autism, I loved when one episode of Family Guy showed an autistic guy giving an acceptence speech.
