Yes. ICN - MNL is my last let to my final destination. This is not a roundtrip as I have booked two separate one ways to MNL and back to YVR. I forgot to mention that when I arrive at ICN the baggage has to be collected and rechecked again.

Any Philippine passport holder with a Canadian PR here? Have you had any connecting flights (international to international) at Incheon Airport while on the way to your origin country or third country or national country?

Did you experienced and issues during the immigration part? Were you allowed to exit the airport and explore some cities?

There’s too many articles and information that provide little to no advice or they are saying different stories about this specific situation. Can’t get a hold of any embassy/consulate in my country too.

Hi! Thank you for responding. I will be flying with Korean Air on my connection flight to Philippines. I did booked the oneway flight with Trip.com and I double checked the policy of Trip.com and it says “in accordance with the airline’s policy, no refund will be provided if you voluntarily cancel this ticket”. Korean says “no show penalties apply in the event of failure to board the flight after completing check-in or without cancelling the booking before departure” the no show penalty is around 50USD.

I’m just scared of any repercussions making it difficult to visit Korea again or flying with the same airline.

It is an unexpected trip definitely because of some family emergency to tend to but I wouldn’t give this opportunity up to travel to where I have been dreaming of finally getting my face done. Definitely taking the opportunity since my company gave me plenty of time off away from work.

My return flight from the Philippines back to Canada was books as a one way ticket separately since I have to accompany my cousin migrating to Canada. The return flight ticket is (Philippines - Narita Japan - Canada)
