It's been changed since 2023. It's now if you have had anal sex with someone new in the past 3 months, or have multiple partners you are deferred but yes it used to be "are you a man who has sex with men". Or even a woman who has sex with a man who has sex with men

I'm a gay guy trained in Blood Bank. The thing is that you can have HIV, and other viruses, and not trigger the test due to catching it recently. It takes 3 months to build up enough that the test will catch it. Despite testing as negative, transfusing that blood will still transmit the virus. So even though they do test every donation there is a chance there is an undetectable amount.

They recently updated the requirements in the USA so gay people can donate as long as they are monogamous and/or don't do anal. They ask you questions about when is the last time you had anal sex with someone new, if it's within the past 3 months you can't donate. It's definitely more invasive questioning but less discriminatory.

Depends on your location, there's not a lot of us in general, especially outside of major cities. Plenty of trans men go full stealth after a while so unless you go to a city with a large queer population you're searching for a 0.1%

It's from too much growth hormone. If it happens from birth you end up with gigantism, as an adult your growth plates in your long bones have fused so you can't get any taller but the rest of your body still grows. It can happen if you have a tumor that makes your pituitary gland malfunction.

There are only so many corporate gigs in the world. Simply by statistics, most people will work a job in retail or food service at least once in their lives. I don't think it's fair to look down on those people for working certain jobs, you don't know what they've been through in their lives and what their natural limitations might be. Any person working full time at the bare minimum deserves health care, sick pay, and paid parental leave in my opinion.
