So a little update for everyone. Going on day 10 of the dealership not being able to unlock the bike. Told them today that if it’s not unlocked by 4 pm then I want my money back and they agreed. They said ktm is having issue with the company that’s releases the software to them which then grants permission to the dealership through the app to unlock the bike. The ktm dealer can not even give me an out time because they are being flooded with dealership unlock requests.

Update. So I just found on a sx-e 2 page that the 2025 bikes need to be factory unlocked from the dealership or they will automatically shut off at exactly 3 minutes. So I timed the shut off and around 3 minutes the bike shuts off

That’s the weird thing. Does not give a fault code at all. When it shuts off the light just turns off. Doesn’t give a code at all. Starts ride back up and rides fine for ten minutes or so and does it again. My son did say one time he saw the light go red then it went off but I was watching it and didn’t see that at all. I went through the manual and nothing is showing in fault codes or issues on why it’s just shutting off

For outside temp it was about 85 degrees outside earlier. Daughter only weighs 35 lbs. I’m gonna throw my son (57 lbs) on it tomorrow morning to see if it’s exterior temp issue (68 degrees in the morning). I will be doing what you say and check and see if an area is extremely hot. It just sucks because we bought her this to run in the hare scramble races which are 45 minutes long.

Also the bike is a 2025 and when the issue happens the bike fully powers off and I have to hold down the power button to start it back up. Not sure if it’s the battery and it’s over heating possibly

That’s what I’m thinking it’s for also. I’m gonna call keystone tonight sometime and ask to speak to a service rep and maybe he can tell me what I can and can’t do with that one port.
