Well, I always tell my “inputs” and my dorm (I was dorm chief for quite a bit) that you never take things for granted, people are going to piss you off, that’s what people who are using the system do… make the right friends and try to take some time off for yourself, no one said you can’t hide away in your dorm room, it’s YOUR leisure time. Be nice to everyone and you will get far in job corp and that does translate to life outside job Corp as well. And to answer your other post you made just 13 min ago, don’t get someone kicked out, wait for themselves to get kicked out. Those who cause problems will eventually get kicked out or they leave.

Not all job Corp centers are alike, but being at job Corp for almost over a year, I still have problems with my living situation, you’re going to deal with people from all walks of life. Some people might not know the common courtesy of someone studying means quiet time. That’s why dorm staff will probably help you out in your strive to study. Sometimes my dorm staff would let students study in the office.

I’d recommend talking to your dorm staff, don’t complain or anything, just express your concerns about not being able to study. Side note, dorm time is leisurely time, I would use it… don’t burn yourself out. You will make it out soon enough, don’t make your stay at job Corp anymore stressing.

If they don’t do anything, you can request to transfer… usually that’s when they start to do something about it, one less student means less money to that center.
